Higdon: first 200-yard game by a RB in a decade

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Karan Higdon (now from Utica, MI) had a historic day today.

200 yards.

The last Wolverine back to have a 200 yard game was.............the current IU RBs coach.

October 6, 2007 against EMU. Hart had a 215 yard game on the day he became Michigan's all-time leading rusher.

What's even more encouraging is that a lot of the yards were of his own making.  The OT touchdown was 100% Higdon.

Giving you shit is some sort of weird pass-time for some of the other members. But I for one agree with MichiganMan14. And I would I would like to thank you for your part in bringing Jim Harbaugh home. If it wasn't for you bringing down Dave Brandon, there is no chance that JH would've come home. So thank you WD!

When he came here in 2015, his family moved up to Michigan from Florida.

They picked little ol Utica, MI. It's a pretty big deal. His younger brother stars for Utica HS and is gonna play college ball.

Utica is the only school in the UCS district to never produce a Michigan Football player. So it's just cool that he's from around here. I think that's the coolest thing ever.

Blind kittens throw up greasy hairballs in the hallway in the middle of the night and you slip on it after you take a piss and fracture your skull, sustaining a deep cerebral hematoma that kills you before you regain consciousness.

Kept improving as the game progressed, which is what the best backs do. In OT, when banged up and tired, he showed the awareness great backs possess when the play blew up in his face, he bought time and made decisions, and then flew into the endzone. Higdon is only a sophomore. If he remains healthy I can see amazing production by this kid provided the coaches let him carry enough per game.
