Welcome!!

I must be losing my mind, I thought this was posted. Great for this kid. A young go getter.

If he's the kid in the lower right, Harbaugh is recruiting them young these days.

Its cool he's so good at football and his mom is 1996 Alanis Morissette.

Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

You oughtta know.
I went to high school with her.

Very good PWO pick-up!

We got QB Garrett Moores from Catholic Central several years ago. As I remember, he scored an interesting extra point against Rutgers.
Congratulations Declan! Practice and study hard.

That’s holder of the year Garret Moores to you! Other DCC alumni that played at Michigan include Mike Martin and CJ Baird, so I know we’ve got a good one here.

I can't wait until he is about to get sacked by a DE but he avoids the sack and the announcers have to say, "Oh wow, Byle ducked out of the way of that defender!"

After the last two days in my world, that hits way too close to home. I love it!

He's thanking Devin Gardner. I hope he doesn't get mistreated like Devin did with a sucky Oline.
November 19th, 2021 at 2:46 PM ^
Welcome. He does throw a dart.

I wish the best for him, and he sounds like a quality addition to the team.
That being said, I'm a bit surprised he would want to walk on here vs. going to an ivy where he would be far more likely to get playing time. When was the last time a walk-on QB got any real time here?
There is probably value in staying local for him.

Nick Sheridan was the last preferred walk-on QB to play much, and that was during the Carr-to-Rodriguez transition.
November 19th, 2021 at 4:55 PM ^
Right. He obviously doesn't expect to play, and that's fine. I'm just surprised.
He is clearly coming to "play school" and be a part of the football team.

It's Michigan Fergodsakes! He would walk(on) a thousand miles to play for Michigan.
He obviously loves Michigan. Great to add a smart, winning player who bleeds Maize and Blue

Well, we are "the Harvard of the west. "
November 19th, 2021 at 3:04 PM ^
Correction. Harvard is the Michigan of the East.

Yep...

I misread his Twitter post and like, how does he know Joe Rogan.
I'm excited for this young man. Welcome aboard!!

It's great, to be, a Michigan Wolverine!

His dad is my boss at Bally Sports Detroit. He is the executive producer. His dad played basketball with Loy Vaught at east kentwood. The Byle’s are big Michigan fans. Good for Declan, go get that degree!

Friend of mine has a son named Declan. Declan is a name that I am seeing more and more of. Irish names are quite popular it seems.
