Harbaugh Tweet About Cowherd Interview
That didn't take too long.
In my experience of participating in interviews, I've found it takes 2 to produce a clunker! I'll take 50% responsibility 4 this clunker.

I hope I run into Cowherd during the all star break
after he's down.
Absolutely perfect.
Jim Harbaugh Media Recipe - 1 parts Jim Leyland, 2 parts Vladimir Putin, 2 parts Hemingway, spritz of Kanye West. Shake vigorously.
You mean like Putin?
Putin has nothin' on Harbaugh
Our Boy Tim K explains Harbaugh v. the media

So I actually thought this was a well written, thoughtful piece.
On the other hand, why did Kawakami reference his own tweets in writing the article? Why write it at all?
I found that very funny as well. However, Tim explains JH very well IMO coming from a crazy media person.
"he’s very leery of people he doesn’t know, he always is suspicious of ponderous questions"
He made it very clear that Brady & Laura Hoke were very good friends of the family and that he has the upmost respect for the work that he has done at the University. So, then CC has him on and asks him "Whats the 1st thing you had to change at Michigan?"
It was a 2 sided question, and I don't think JH liked the direction or directions he was going
Our boy Tim K did a much better interview w/ Harbaugh back when he took the job. He got a bunch of substantive responses and had a great rapport. That's how you do an interview...

That was an excellent explanation of all things Harbaugh.
if there ever is a next time.
I just listened to that interview. I . . . didn't think it was that bad? I don't listen to Cowherd so I don't know if other interviewees are much more energetic, but I dunno--that just seemed like a slightly low-key, but not unusual, interview. What do I know?
as I stated elsewhere, Before listening to the interview I was expecting a lot worse (based on comments here). The interview was bad, but up until Cowherd started proclaiming it the worst interview ever I wouldn't have thought too much of it.
Yup, I found him to be defensive too. He was like the little skinny kid who yells and makes a bunch of noise to try and look like something bigger than he is.
Similarly...
Then the 2nd was kind of a disaster . I thought Colin should have worded it better from the start with the question about the big 10 "being a bye" and can see why Jim got confused . I also thought Colons question on the difference between a college and NFL coach was a good question and i would have like for Jim to give a good answer.
It's a slow news day and a slow period for football. This is a lot of drama over very little. Other than Jim being Jim - he was not confrotational, just short and a bit wry - and Cowherd being Cowherd this was no big deal. The only thing I didnt like was how Cowherd cut him off without saying "ok thanks coach we'll try again down the road. Good luck this year."
I am really shocked this is taking such a life of its own - there is nothing really here but a mercurial coach who had a pretty bad interview (not his first) and a radio host with a few goofball questions. Cowherd did have a good question or two and Jim didnt give any effort in answering. They both half assed it. I have no idea why Jim did the interview if this was his stance or mood. Just say no next time.
Harbaugh doesn't take shit from anyone!
That was an absolute PERFECT response.
Jim Harbaugh is the only coach/player I follow on Twitter, and this is why. He's an odd duck, but he's our odd duck.
Well stated, Magnus.
I don't think JH did himself any favors today and I am not blindly defending him. But damn...I love him regardless!
Jim Harbaugh called into drive-time ratfuck Colin Cowherd’s radio show...
http://Jim Harbaugh called into drive-time ratfuck Colin Cowherd’s radio show
Ratfuck is my new favorite adjective.
He is, without a doubt, a ratfuck.
I always thought he looked like the aliens from Mars Attacks
Its also the most relevent he's been in probably...forever
He seriously reminds me of an angry skeleton who was too shitty at sports growing up and still has a chip on his shoulder about it to this day. His shit show on ESPN is the closest he can get to the sports world. Angry Dweeb Syndrome?
I'm an engineer, so English isn't my thing, but I'm pretty sure "Ratfuck" is a noun in that sentance.
I thought he was using 'ratfuck' as a verb.
IE. Harbaugh ratfucked Cowheards show.
was the noun. Ratfuck was the adjective describing the noun.
/also not an english major, could be wrong.
I thought it was a noun, proper noun. Just was missing a comma.
blah, blah, blah Ratfuck, Colin Cowherd, blah blah blah
and are missing the larger point. Not only does Cowherd fuck rats, but his face is such that he is unable to hide his rat fucking fetish.
I almost feel bad for the guy. How awful would it be to go through life knowing that everytime someone sees you their first thought is "yep, that guy likes to fuck rats"?
Sentance? OK, not an English major, got it...
It may be a noun, but not necessarily a proper noun.
LOVE THIS!
+1 for the Immortan Joe avatar
that is a sick fucking save
