Harbaugh Speaking at Mich. High School Football Coaches Clinic Tomorrow

Submitted by BursleyHall82 on

The Michigan High School Football Coaches Association clinic is going on in Lansing. Tomorrow morning at 10:45, Harbaugh is speaking to the group. Dantonio is on at 8:45 a.m., and P.J. Fleck is speaking at 10 a.m. If an MGoUser wanted to crash this party and tell us what he said, that would be cool. Here's the full schedule for the day:

With Harbaugh, Durkin, Drevno and Baxter all having parts in this during our big official visit weekend I hope they hussle back to Ann Arbor as soon as they are done. Especially Harbaugh (obviously) and Baxter because he seems to have a very big impact with parents.

Please please please Dantonio just TRY to cut off Harbaugh's time talking like you did to one of our staff 2 years ago.  Please.  I beg you.

No, that would seriously be the best thing.

I imagine MD gets out a "I'm better than him" quipp and Harbaugh follows with an awkward pause. Giving him direct eye contact--as a parent would when disciplining their child--and then commences to say the fewest words possible but with strong meaning. Dantonio sits, the crowd thinks of him as a child begging for attention. MD lowers head and pouts about how his life is horrible.

Chris Creighton is speaking on "Changing the Culture of a Football Program." I'm assuming he'll be bringing that cinder-block wall that took his guys two hours to smash down with their sledgehammers.

Kelly basically has the keynote, an event all to himself on Thursday night.

Dantonio gets an hour. Harbaugh only has a half an hour. I guess that makes sense, as it's not like he is going to talk about what Michigan did this past season.

Interesting that the "new Michigan offense" session takes place in the big hall -- they must be expecting a lot of people for that! ... If Harbaugh stays for that, he won't have to leave the room -- it starts immediately following his talk.

Also, Baxter (the new special teams coordinator) has 75 minutes !!! all to himself on Saturday, also in the big hall. That's some serious respect.

"Since you'll be coaching Michigan, we should get acquainted a bit...let's sit on the couch over here...wait, what the hell?  Okay, well we can use these chairs."
