Harbaugh says Levert has a concussion

Submitted by The Baughz on
According to Twitter, Harbaugh said Levert was held out of the 2nd half due to a concussion. Hopefully he gets healthy soon and doesn’t miss any time.

Why the hell would you assume he's gonna miss any games just cause he has a concussion? Not even close to accurate with a concussion, could miss no time.

Concussions vary in severity.  My nephew headed a ball in his last soccer game, with concussion protocol, the doctor told hiim he's going to miss two weeks at least with how bad it was.  He goes and gets checked once a week until he's cleared.  It's a pretty serious thing now.  Hill could miss a game or two or not miss one at all.

Yeah, not a great collection of injuries to have right before a big game.  Gary never went to the locker room so hopefully its just a stinger or something like that.  Higdon was a sock off walk gingerly to the locker room kind of thing...which doesn't seem great.

Having coached kids going through concussion protocol, Hill could be back as early as Wednesday. It all depends on how he heals.

It's not great news, but it's far from awful. The defense can survive without him against Wisconsin. Their QB isn't exactly good, and they're missing their top WR.

Well luckily Wisconsin doesn’t really throw the ball.....

But yeah, if he’s not back by OSU we’re in more trouble than we’re already in. But seriously, hope he’s alright.

You have no idea how long he will be out. Every concussion varies in severity. Your pessimism is clearly winning the battle against your rational thought. I’d guess he plays against Wisconsin.

while the most optimistic version is that he's good to go mid-week, there's also Sid Crosby who missed what over a year with concussion? It depends on the nature and severity of the injury. Wait and see.

None of them will miss any time. They all looked like minor injuries and all of them were on the sidelines instead of the locker room at the end of the game. What's wrong with you people?

I thought this would be a game we could get healthy, instead we enter the Wisconsin game with possibly more questionabe guys.

Concussions, sprained ankles are all part of the game when you're cracking skulls. Wait until next year when these young guns have been in the weight room another full year. Be a lot more young players playing. Wish The Game was earlier in the season sometimes so both teams could slug it out without the injuries that come down the stretch. Be it the case if Levert is out, then it's Ambry's turn to shine. St. Juste isn't ready and Watson didn't work the hip flexors enough. Unless someone finds one of those devices from star trek to rapidly fix head trauma, Levert isn't playing next week. Wisconsin sucks anyway, who cares. Stop their running game and woohlah!

I️ asked a brain doctor in charge of a concussion clinic who sees a lot of football players. She said that there is a very good chance a player with a concussion could play the next game and many do pass the protocol after a couple days. Without specific knowledge of Hill’s injury you have no idea if he will play or not.

Watched the play Gary was injured on over a couple times it looked like a teammate fell on Gary's oblongs knee first. Just the way he landed on him looked painful, we all know that feeling.
