Harbaugh getting stronger as camps go on
Nice article in today's AA News. Harbaugh says the camps aren't work.
"None of us are looking at it that way," Harbaugh said last week. "This has been a joy. I think everybody that I've seen has, just like myself, everybody's getting more energy as we go."
I think he really means this. The fact that he's surrounded himself with such a great staff is something I don't believe gets talked about enough. I absolutely believe they feel exactly the same way.

I'm pretty sure Harbaugh waits for no man (or woman)... Time and Tide wait for Harbaugh.
I'm begining to think the man is a vampire that feeds on enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Which would explain his boyish good looks.
You fools! This isnt even his final form!

It's called University of Michigan's chartered jet.
Like, physically stronger? Is he being tested/measuered at every stop?
Steel sharpens steel
Blue twisted steel.
the iron price
I looked that happy and energetic at work !!!
Go Blue!
Medvedev?
Earlier this month in Atlanta, Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi explained how he sees plenty of value in satellite camps (his staff has joined Harbaugh at a handful of stops so far) but he did say he planned on being careful with how much he scheduled.
I imagine he's also scheduling how early he plans to ditch all of them for the camp across the road too, but you know, whatever in his case.
More to the point though, it's pretty amazing to think that there are still two weeks left of these in this month (six states in this week alone, I think) and to seem that unfazed and energetic....wow. It's really another reason we are incredibly fortunate to have Harbaugh back home in Ann Arbor.
God Bless Jim Harbaugh!
I'm sure they're tired though - that amount of flying and not sleeping in your home gets to you after a while.
I saw an article in the Detroit News (below) where Sarah was saying that they are "worn out", but that they are looking forward to 5 weeks off around July. Hopefully, they get to power through the rest of the camps, then get some time off before focusing on the actual football to be played in the Fall!

Something that caught my eye is when Jim mentioned that his brother doesn't get to do this in the NFL.
Remember that, Jim.
Hope he's taking his daily vitamins...
You mean steak and whole milk?
Coaching vitamins.
This isn't even his final form
So friggin' funny - I had one of these with Michael Phelps after the US won that 400 free relay against the French.
Perfect. Exactly what I had in mind. I seriously think these camps are fueling him and he just gets more and more energetic and excited about football.
His power level is definitely over 9,000 here.
I'm sure it's a lot of fun and great for your career, but being a Harbaugh assistant has got to be a hell of a burnout job.
take some time off in July where he and his family can take a vacation. It would be well deserved. His wife is a saint.
And when August 1 comes, full speed ahead!!
"This is the most fun I've had in 6 months." me too Jim, me too. OT season is hard.
Jim Harbaughs power level is over 9000
I would not be surprised if the camps are scaled back a bit in the years coming. As CFB adapts and other programs mimic, it will cause a bit of saturation for the kids and you won't need as many.
Plus, I think the main benefit is already being realized and the effect will be more enduring in terms of the re-branding of MICHIGAN under Harbaugh and the corresponding success in season and on the field that will come.
Love it. You can't clone Harbaugh. He is an enigma ...our enigma!!
He just needs to win the NC this year then the rebranding is complete. Everybody will know about Michigan and Harbaugh's program. He can be like Saban and wait for the world to come to him. He won't need camps.
/JK.
/Not really.
I know we all say around here that Harbaugh is a jackhammer that lives solely off of steak and whole milk, but at some point this summer, I do hope he takes some time for himself and his family.
Obviously he'll do what's best for him, but I'm of the mindset that everyone needs a break at some point. Just hope he can take a week or two to decompress.
and that wouldn't surprise me either.
