A couple that quickly come to mind: 1. Was on the tv show "Saved By The Bell" 2. He was in audience of Judge Judy 3. He called into the Jim Rome radio show during the annual "Smack Off" to talk smack 4. This Walrus thing I'm sure there are many more. I hope he comes back to Michigan, so we can see what other quirky things he'll do. We'll love him for it!

Happy birthday to hopefully our next coach. But as fans are we ready from the change from a coach that never wears sleeves to a coach that always wears a sweatshirt like no matter the weather

and I can get the time to be there for the "100 pint giveaway" (depends on when it happens around the holidays, post new year, etc) I will throw in a significant amount of cash into the free flowing beer fund. If I can't make it, maybe I can get in touch with the leader/someone going and I'll transfer funds for the party. I want be there and get STUPID HAPPY DRUNK if it's happening! If I can't make it, I'll try to help more get to that level so I can live vicariously through them. Also, Happy Birthday, Jim!

A neat thing I noticed about harbaugh is his coaching tree...for only being a NCAA head coach for 7 years he has 3 coaches who were under him who are now head coaches elsewhere. Bodes well for his ability to select staff in my opinion.

Fifty-one? Too old. Do not want.

I want Mike Hart as head coach with Nick Sheridan as the offensive coordinator and Cato June as the defensive coordinator.

I don't know if it is all of the GREAT  U of M fans or not, but Jim Harbaugh has made it into the top 10 most popular searches on the internet!  I say we need more he is at 10 now, let's move that up to number "1".

Damn. Was hoping we'd lock him up before today. His market value has declined a bit now that he's a whole year older.

At 8:00 this morning, NPR's Morning Edition was making its introduction to the news, recounting that today, December 23, "is the birthday of Jim Harbaugh, the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers.  For now.  He is 51."  I cracked up.  Even NPR is obliquely covering the coaching change.
