Greatest Crowd Sign Ever

Submitted by chillmodious on
Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but while watching the game against Duke today, I saw the TV camera pan across a sign that read: bEilein's Squad Pwns N00bs I don't know who you are, Random Sign Carrying Fan, but you are awesome. A tip of my 'Block M' cap to you. [for the record, my previous favorite was the "Lou Holth For Prethident" sign that appeared behind the Gameday guys a few years ago]

Nothing will beat "Wade Boggs once drank 68 beers on a cross-country flight". It on gameday way back in the day, I feel like maybe at Michigan Stadium?

Since I live out west I get to see a lot of Pac10 games so I get to see a lot of awesome signs revolving around the Beavers. Last week at the Oregon\Oregon State game I saw three girls holding up "These Beavers smell like Roses" Also when Washington actually was winning games there was usually a sign saying "Doing Beavers doggy style" or "Lick the Beavs" Those are usually my favorites.

2003 Michigan vs OSU on Gameday "Jim Tressel isn't the answer to Ohio State's questions. Jim Tressel is the answer to the question: who likes fat chicks?"

At the game against Ohio State in Ann Arbor in 2007, I love the sign that read; Tressel Likes 2 Girls 1 Cup Not as good as some others, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I realize this is 8 months after people have posted in this thread and the duke game but want to thank the creator of this thread for giving props to the "beilein's squad pwns n00bs" sign. I was just reminiscing about last year when I searched "beilein's squad pwns n00bs" in google, not thinking anything would show up. My friend and I made that sign the morning of the game just before we left. We basically said to each other 'hey wouldnt it be cool to make a sign for ESPN?' So we went to the South Quad basement to get some art supplies and just kinda sat there and brainstormed til my friend said "what about beilein's squad pwns n00bs." We both thought it was really funny and went with it. We showed it to other kids in our hall and some of them gave us crap for it because it was a videogame reference and they thought ESPN wouldn't put it on because they either wouldn't understand it or thought it was stupid. WRONG. It got on TV plus we got praise from a bunch of people on the game and even here. Heck, I just found a site that had a link to the daily's story about the game and next to the link was the description: "the beilein's squad pwns n00bs game." Thanks again. I'm truly humbled.

Written on the side of a blue van, at the intersection of Hoover and Greene, prior to MSU v UM a1998?, "We have mixed feelings about MSU. Their Football Team Sucks. BUT so do their cheerleaders." Prior to OSU v UM game when David Boston was running his Mouth talking trash, I saw a sign right behind Gameday, that had a Rolling Stones symbol, (an Open Mouth) with the words "Bostons, Mass" Same Game, a sign for John Cooper which played off "john 3:16" which stated "John 2-8-1" ( I might have exact numbers wrong)
