I'm not going to lie, if I were an unbiased observer I think I might find his Twitter account highly entertaining to follow.  The guy does have a funny cheekiness about him.

I'll be most curious to see if he can get some former commits to do the nearly impossible double flip. If not, I'd imagine he has enough cachet to flip some other guys from other schools. I do wonder, however, how much time he's had to watch film of HS players. Probably not much, which is why hiring the right assistants will be huge (as it always is).

I was thinking from the standpoint of the message it would send Ohio and how much it would chaff the asses of their fans.

I'd take Rosen in a second, but I'm doubtful we'd be able to pull him away from SoCal and the UCLA program, especially if he's planning to enroll early.  But, I certainly think there are a number of 5* type prospects out there who will give Michigan a very strong look assuming JH takes over.

and rightfully so...but on MGoBlog, we can't put the cart before the horse and think past early next week? I get that some of you are superstitious, but maybe you all should stay off MGoBlog until it's official if you don't want to jinx anything. No offense, but it's not going to stop or change. People are still going to talk Michigan and Harbaugh.

about any kind of "jinx"; it's the difficulty with obtaining and keeping " nice things" that causes me to keep from going into full-blown celebration mode just yet. I'll slightly rephrase what I posted earlier: I don't think recruiting will at all be a problem for Jim Harbaugh once he officially is named Michigan's next Head Coach.

Being here makes me feel like I'm doing something other than waiting. This is the place where I can come and talk to others who feel the same way as me. If I tried to step away, I would drive my wife nuts. We left Mt. Pleasant at 6am on our way back home to Nashville. Long day ahead.

Is it possible to take the under in this situation if the set point is the date of hire? If so, i will take the under(?) and hope retaining a 5 star instead of losing one to attrition will win the purse. I haven't thought this through but I find it prudent to call Dibs.

Get Jim Harbaugh

December 27th, 2014 at 7:27 AM ^

Sort of on topic, but I was perusing the Michigan coach search thread on RCMB, which had over 237,000 views as of yesterday (insecure and obsessed much, Sparty?), and I saw many people say that Harbaugh doesn't fear them. Others were saying shit like Harbaugh cannot teach Shane Morris how to be a good QB (I know, I laughed too, especially considering that Jim played QUARTERBACK).

DISCLAIMER: This was the first time reading RCMB in about a year and I was just curious what those assholes were saying about this situation. The fact that those losers have an official UM coaching search thread on their own shitty web site is both hilarious and pathetic. We would never have something like that here.

I think the other part to the recruiting angle is that there will probably be less attrition on the current roster because of JH, his reputation, the style of offense he runs, etc. That's a big deal, too.
