Give Amara a Nickname
I just got done following up with Amara Darboh when he made kind of a funny request: get him a nickname. He was known primarily as simply "AD" for the last two years of his high school career and wants something fresh. Where better to go than the most creative message board on the internet. What say you?

Let me write a little more on my thinking behind this. This kid is going to be catching a lot of big passes during his days in the Maize and Blue. I figure quite a few of them will be daggers that will break the will of our opponent to fight back against us. That was my thinking. I know it sound simple, but there was more thought to it than it seems. I just wanted to give you all a chance to think about it.
Of the others, I do like Pass Mack a lot. Don't know if it rolls of the tongue, but it's pretty good.

Amara was a refugee from Sierra Leone. The second language (traditional) after English is Krio.
Tried finding something meaningful that still sounded cool for a WR.
"Pasmak" - means exceed, beyond, limit
Americanize it to "Pass Mack"

I think it will be hard to come up with a good nickname based on his name alone ... much like 'Shoelace' & 'Megatron', we might be able to come up with a more suitable name later on as we become more familiar with his personality & play style. which, by the way, I can't wait for! seems like a great person & player.
