The Game: A TV and Streaming Record-breaker
Despite the final score (and disappointing officiating), I really enjoyed The Game. Apparently, so did millions of others:
The [G]ame, which aired on ABC at noon, pulled in an overnight television rating of 10.4, the highest overnight rating for any game this season, and nearly 50% higher than the second-most-watched game of the season. That 10.4 rating is the highest-ever recorded for a college football game that kicked off at noon on the east coast, according to ESPN. It is also the second-highest rated college football game ever aired on ABC, trailing only the 2006 Ohio State-Michigan game, when the teams were ranked Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.
In addition, [T]he [G]ame was ESPN's most-streamed, regular-season, college football game ever. According to the network, the stream on ESPN averaged 279,000 viewers per minute and reached 1.3 million unique viewers throughout the broadcast. This was the first regular-season game to ever surpass 1.0 million unique viewers.

that beat Alabama?
I DO think this actually works in our favor if things break right (Washington and Wisconsin losses).

Would be great if Clemson loses also

Clemson or Washington losses gives Michigan a good shot to get in! It would be so huge these two teams in a rematch. No home field advantage this time bucknuts and hopefully no refs taking money under the table for that same team.

If CHAOS can get a 2-loss LSU team into the BCS title game in 2007, then Colorado can beat UW Friday night and OU, Clemson and Wisconsin can all lose on Saturday.

We make it to the CFP at #4 and avenge our loss to OSU.

Which also means Harbaugh beats Saban.
Delicious.

Yup. Total pipe dream, but the fantasy scenario is that somehow we squeak in at #4 and topple Alabama, then OSU defeats their opponent. We rematch them for the NC and win convincingly.

I hope Warde Manuel makes this screw job public and lobbies for a rematch, no matter how we get it.

The refs were bad by any objective measure, but you can't have a QB that allows a 21 point swing.
OSU did not score a single TD in regulation via their offense that wasn't gifted to them.
We fumbled on the 1 and a half going in for a certain score.
ANY one of those things doesn't happen and we win.

It's a 14-point swing actually (we got the ball right back after the fumble due to their fake punt) but I don't know why people put the pick-six all on Speight's shoulders. That was on the pass protection more than anything. Standing deep in the endzone, he had to get rid of that ball because no one picked up the blitzer.

Is a top 4 Team, but it is a pipe dream to think they would make the CFP. If the selection commitee wanted to skip the conference champion and go to comparable games wins and losses. Michigan beat both Wisconsin, Penn St. and Colorado all playing in Conference Championship games. Comparing Ohio St. to Michigan.
Michigan Beat Penn St. easily, Wisconsin outplayed and beat in regulation, Colorado Beat Head to Head. Each of these teams are playing in their respective confernce championship games.
Ohio State struggled with Michigan State, lost to Penn St. and who is there next best win Nebraska that just got their ass kicked by Iowa. Michigan 2OT with bias officiating.
It won't happen, the CFP is supposed to include a team from each conference. 1. Winner of the conference, followed by the rest of the criteria. This should exclude Ohio State and Michigan, I would love to see another matchup, this will never happen. I will settle for watching Ohio State get their ass handed to them in a bowl game.
The season is not over. Go Blue!

There is no question and never has been.
Did they even play the Iron Bowl? I never heard anything about it.
