Fuck Spectrum and Disney

How in the fuck do you remove all of your stations from Spectrum at the goddamn start of the goddamn college football season.

I spend $200/month to these whores. I also pay for espn plus just in case. Now I can't watch any of it?

Fuck ESPN, DISNEY, CHARTER SPECTRUM AND THEIR MOTHERS

I gotta figure out how to do it while still having my main channels. I pay almost $300 a month to spectrum and they pull that shit!  Disneys not innocent either. ESPN is basically a paywall for any news that’s all over the web for free. Unfortunately where I’m at, spectrum is my only choice for anything not dish related.

YTTV has gotten expensive, but it's still way cheaper than going through most of the cable subscriptions (it's also a better product IMO).

I pay comcast about $110/month for internet + no data cap. And YTTV is $72/month. Combined for $182/month. It's about to decrease for me because I'm getting ATT fiber (which just became an option for me) and that drops the internet costs $40/month. 5 years ago when I made the switch, I was paying comcast something like $280/month for functionally the same thing.

I ended up switching my phone bill over to Comcast and it has saved me a ton of money on the whole. With internet (i have upgraded internet for gaming purposes), cable, & my unlimited phone (which works better than the tmobile plan I had) Im just under 200 total. It would be lower if I signed a contract but I said I was unwilling to tie myself to them with any sort of contract.

I feel like if youre in a generally well populated area with multiple internet options the whole cut the cord idea ends up costing you more and giving you more bills to sort through.

Go with Dish or DirecTV.   We have Dish and I get all the college stations and almost ever station for football for 120 a month if new customer it is like 69.99 and you can always add on Big ten plus or others.   $300 is ridiculous.   I hate the way TV has gone as there are so many options but to get it all it will cost as much as a car payment.

Seriously, how can they fuck up breakfast by putting that disgusting bitter white paste they call "cheese" on their sandwiches?  If they remove that and put one Kraft single on there it would be the greatest breakfast sandwich you can get at a fast food establishment!  It pisses me off that they're missing such an opportunity!

I'm not saying they need the finest cheese in all the land, I'm just saying put something that at least resembles cheese on it!

This should be OT.
Michigan and the Big Ten have nothing to worry about, as our games (until the CFP) are on Fox, NBC, CBS, and Peacock.

Wasn’t that Nebraska-Minnesota opener great?

I was living the Spectrum internet hell as I awaited Google Fiber to FINALLY get installed in my neighborhood.  Took like 3 or 4 years from initial installation of the boxes in the ground to service hook-up at my house.  With fiber I am getting 800 to 900 Mbps up and download speeds consistently compared to like 50 Mpbs upload and 15 Mpbs download with Spectrum.  And I pay $5 per month less.

How pathetic there was no prior notice, no nothing!  Just felt like a baseball bat to the head.

When I called Spectrum, they offered me $15 credit and advise me to go to  https://disneyespnfairdeal.com/ , where they apparently struck a deal with Fubo to accommodate their customers with a temporary solution, that's not free, but 25% off.  What. a. joke.  Now, you want me to pay for two services?  Go fuck yourself!

What's also astonishing is that they have the audacity to advise the consumers to email complaints to Disney on their behalf (which is also in the link above).  As if this extreme inconvenience wasn't enough, they want us to help fight their battle?  Meanwhile, Disney's maliciously holding the consumers hostage until they blow up on Spectrum to bend.  What a shit show.  As a principle, t's time to find an alternative.  Fuck Disney and Spectrum.
