My problem with MSU is that I actually appreciate a lot of their ag work. It has a huge impact in the area where I live, and some of it is really cutting edge. There’s some cool non-ag research going on there as well. But their fan base victim complex + their obsession with M just disgusts me. Their academic work deserves better than to share a name with their high-profile athletic programs.

I agree.... as a fanbase, we tend to go overboard more often than not.
Kinda all he said she said stuff.... investigations happen all the time, some result in findings of wrong doing, some come up empty.
Lets enjoy the incredible team and their brilliant on field performances, celebrate the great individuals that make up the team and shut out the static.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow, even though I feel a heaviness with these "sign stealing" accusations looming. I am certain the team will been exceedingly fired up, as the naritive is now "Michigan is only winning because they are cheating".
Once these accusations prove to be false or unsubstantial, Michigan needs to file suit. There is going to be damage done to the program no matter what the result.
Nonetheless, enjoy the weekend, fill Spartan Stadium with maize, STAY SAFE, and Go Blue!

I am in support of the second point. The first one… those are all (mostly) shot in July for the same year’s new movies. Tropical birds are chirping and the actors are wearing sweaters and coats (notice they are always unzipped). Snow looks fresh and the sun is high in the California sky. It’s a hellacious suspension of disbelief.
