Yeah, it is butterflies in the belly time for sure.

Good news is there is a full day of excellent sports today to distract.  Michigan hoops at 1, Oregon v (not that) OSU and Texas v Texas Tech tonight.  Also, as ugly as it is, Nebraska v Iowa is kind of working for me as a Black Friday appetizer.

Eat leftovers and feast on a good day of sports and try to relax.  The nerves tomorrow morning are literally going to be of the “hands trembling” variety.

It’s funny Ohio fans crying so much about cheating because they lost to Michigan two straight years- they’re so spoiled they can’t fathom Michigan actually beating them with better players and plays in the games. They had so many errors in both games- penalties and coaching mistakes that had nothing to do with signs. Can’t wait until they turn on themselves and fire Ryan Day on Monday after another loss- to a team whose coach is not on the sidelines.

LETS FUCKING GO BLUE!!! EAT SHIT OHIO!!!

The Game is upon us. Though, I tend to believe it’s different now. Once a rivalry that had respect while also adhering to the hatred for each other. Crying Ryan has seemingly changed this narrative based on his excuses and deliberate PR attacks. As a Columbus native, I’ve argued all week to these morons about the implications only to be refuted that *insert Harbaugh or Michigan* cheated without any reason. For someone that seemed like a decent human, Day has changed this rivalry. Not for good.  It’s a sense of entitlement, and expectation to beat up on Michigan based on his last two predecessors, aka 3rd base Day. When the realization is that (CR) is not good as Tressel or Meyer and results to excuses. Ironically enough, these osu fan fucks want to have one foot in and one out in case he does lose this weekend so they have the “I told you so” mantra. I’m 34, so majority of my life has been the constant shit talking of osu fans. Asides from “The Spot” game, I have acknowledged Michigan wasn’t good. These pricks can’t even admit to two games they lost based on sheer dominance. To have a fuck like this disparage a classic game, and invoke all emotions only to do anything necessary to save his ass, is bullshit. Fuck OSU. Fuck Crying big bitch Ryan Day, fuck their ignorant fan base claiming this holier than thou BS when last 3 coaches have been fired for worse things. What a piece of bitch type of team. Go Maize and Blue for life! Drink of choice is wine tonight, M nation.

Good post.  I was struck by how different Harbaugh's response to the 'do you respect Day and his program' question was from how Bo's, Moeller's, and Carr's answers would have been!  This loss of respect started with Tressel, though, not Day.  There's a through line from Tressel to Day where OSU sunk to lower and lower depths to win.  Their two decades of skirting the rules is a measure of how little respect they have for the rivalry.  Fuck them, why should we have any respect for their tainted program.

Just Win The Game!

Finally -- a posbang.

Michigan predicted to win by SP+, FEI, and Vegas.  Michigan has better Oline, more-scrambly QB, more-experienced QB, excellent RB's, excellent defense.  And The Game is at Michigan.

Got to like that.  Yet, in addition:

When Michigan wins The Game, it will be win 1001, which is MI in Roman numerals.

In The Prophecies, by Nostradamus, Century X, Quatrain 1 (i.e., 1001) is clearly about Michigan victory in The Game and the grave consequences for anOSU.

You can see that this victory is foretold and written in the stars.  But if you are suspicious of such reasoning --

To double check all of this, I have used the various math and science techniques I learned at Michigan (complex math, partial differential equations, applied physics, probability, statistics, numerical methods) to calculate the probability of an outcome different from above, and it comes out to be in the range of 10^-45 to 10^-23.

The nerves are here, but so is the excitement!  This team culture and group of player leaders has been developing for years, and it’s led to this moment.  JJ was roaming Ohio’s stadium last year in warmups with a beanie that had 988 on it because he knew they’d win that game.  I’m sad/angry/pissed for Harbaugh that he can’t be on the sidelines, but I think this group of young men gets it done.  Corum’s first time going into The Game healthy.  Kenny G/Mason Graham ready to dominate.  Let’s go!!!!

I know I am supposed to be excited. I am not as excited as the last 10 years or so even when we were a heavy underdog.

The hit job as taken the rivalry a notch down and I am looking at OSU as MSU another little brother.

Regardless, excited for these classy players, Harbaugh and Moore. Go out and win one for Harbaugh and for the team. Go Blue.
