I'm not impervious to pain - I've had a couple very painful experiences - but having my wisdom teeth out wasn't that bad of an experience. The only real issue was being unable to eat solid foods for a couple days.

I was surprised that my root canal wasn't too bad. I guess the pain that was there before I had it was much worse. But I went to an endodontist. He did a great job. But boy, what a great job. Cash up front (which people will pay to get pain relief), you bill your own insurance company, no call, works only 3-4 days/week.

to avoid reporting the points to insurance if you take an online Driver Improvement Course, for about $80-$100, within 60 days. So I've got that going for me, which is nice.

It's a one-time deal. I've done it myself for a speeding ticket. I've researched it a little, and I believe that 17 y.o. driver is still eligible, but I'll find out. The damage isn't too bad so I'm not claiming it. I was real bummed at first but at least there's hope.

My insurance doesn't go up unless I file a claim, but I am not in Michigan. That's ridiculous that it should go up because you got a ticket. Everyone breaks traffic laws every single day, a ticket simply means you have bad timing. Not everyone I guess. But a lot of us.

What kind of car do you have, Mabel? My wife has a Toyota Avalon and if she hit the garage it would destroy her car and possibly tear the weatherstripping on the side of the garage door, but maybe not.

In almost the exact same situtation, ours was willing to change the ticket to "Impeding traffic", which is a non-points/non-reportable offense. Still have to pay the fine, but her insurance won't go up and you save the get out of jail free card of Driver Improvement for another time if needed.

So . . . I go mattress shopping for days and days and never find anything comfortable and have to send them back.

But every single damn hotel I stay at has a mattress made in heaven and I sleep like a baby. Even cheapo flea-bag motels.

If your buying memory foam beds you have to give them a chance to loosen up some. You could try the casper mattress, cheap for a king bed about $900 and I think you get a 120 night trial with it.
