Dropped off the kiddo with the grandparents and had a rare date night with the wife.  We went to the local fair,  rode a bunch of rides, and ate crappy fair food.  It was wonderful.  Now sitting down with a Fiddlehead IPA and watching the Hawks-Bucks.

No beverages this evening but I just had my first three experiences with "3 Floyds" of Munster, Indiana. All good. They have a following in Chicago and I've known about them for a long time. But, hadn't tried until a few days ago .......

Hey-O!

But, seriously, for BLUEinRockford:

* Barbarian Haze (IPA)

* Robert the Bruce (Scottish-style ale)

* Alpha King (American pale ale)

For all I (not a beer expert) know they're the three shittiest beers on the roster, but I thought they were all very good. I have a six of "Gumbalhead" in the fridge that I haven't cracked yet. Based on the first three I'm looking forward to it.

It's an angry, dark album and very political.

Not for everyone, I suppose, but if you can ignore or somehow set those lyrics aside, the music itself is beyond outstanding. From start to finish, not only is there not a single weak song, there's barely even a weak bar or two.

Bailey's. Bought a bottle of the dairy-free version for my wife. She decided she didn't want it, so now I'm drinking the bottle myself.

Had a very nice sour red ale at my local Books & Brews after work. Took a few hours off from drinking to play with the kiddo and now it's Belvedere on the rocks.

This shit should come with Mr. Belvedere. Sick of getting up bc my legs are a bit sore from hooping. Looking forward to wrecking the shit out of my IndyCar in Project Cars 2 later on. Cheers!

Picked up two signed Woodson Whiskey bottles plus a picture with him at the grocery store yesterday in Northville and I’m never going to drink them.
