Happy Friday evening, folks.

Long, long workweek capped off with a five mile run, getting Jason Isbell tickets (anybody else going?), and now an oatmeal stout I brewed. Bring on the football and beer.

Both old fashioneds and manhattans really need Rye. I'll drink an old fashioned made with bourbon but not a Manhattan, never tastes right.

No run for me today. I've gotten tendonitis in my knees from my pushing it a little too much over the past couple weeks. Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA is my choice for the evening. I took a flyer on it. It's not my favorite IPA, but it's not too bad. Still prefer the Stone Brewery IPA's. Enjoy, everybody. GO...BLUE!!!

I was forced to buy a whole Alaskan sampler 12 pack because the store was out of the Amber 6-pack. I usually don't like IPA's yet but I love this. So I think that says something.

no enzymes, less small intestine, the alcohol goes straight to your blood system. your blood alcohol content spikes faster, higher and longer than before. sounds fun at a party, but not so funny if you don't compensate for it and also give your keys to somebody else.
