I can't wait to hear how a one loss SEC team should be in the national championship game once alabama beats Auburn...
Come on Gary, what do you have for me????
November 26th, 2010 at 2:40 PM ^
Auburn sure has struggled this year with their dual threat qb and spread offense.

Time for the SEC/Cam Newton slurpfest from Gary and Verne
November 26th, 2010 at 2:44 PM ^
"I spent 20 minutes with Cam Newton and I am a better man for having done that."
November 26th, 2010 at 2:45 PM ^
Didn't he say the same thing about Tebow?
November 26th, 2010 at 2:48 PM ^
I was just messing around and too lazy to do the strikethrough script.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:35 PM ^
"Auburn vs. Alabama, arguably the most intense rivalry in the country."
Except, you know, outside of the state of Alabama, where everyone else just watches hoping to see a semi-entertaining game/Saban taking out Fairley.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:38 PM ^
The lettering on Alabama's endzones looks very 1990's Tom Cruise film-like. Very cute. Oh look! An elephant or something.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:38 PM ^
Why the hell do all the SEC crowds have those damn pompoms?
November 26th, 2010 at 2:45 PM ^
Didn't Maze verbally commit to UM at one point?
November 26th, 2010 at 2:48 PM ^
Yep, but he is much better because he went to the SEC, where receivers automatically receive extra speed for simply attending a Southern school.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:48 PM ^
I love the way Alabama's field turf looks.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:49 PM ^
At first glance, I thought Ingram let go of the ball before he got in the endzone.

November 26th, 2010 at 2:51 PM ^
I hate the south
November 26th, 2010 at 2:52 PM ^
Fairley in the locker room now, likely recurring shoulder injury. Alabama playing with a lot more intensity right now.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:56 PM ^
I'm not one to root for injuries, but I'm glad he's out. Should have been suspended for last game's cheap shots, but looks like his body took care of that for him.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:54 PM ^
The things I would do for a defense like Bama's.....
November 26th, 2010 at 2:57 PM ^
That would require alot of money.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:54 PM ^
What a horrible 3rd down play, that fake reverse by the receiver was just horrible.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:58 PM ^
And just like that it is now 14-0.
November 26th, 2010 at 2:58 PM ^
Roll Tide! (I can't believe I'm rooting for Bama)
November 26th, 2010 at 2:59 PM ^
Ruh roh, wareagles.
But I don't even really feel happy about Bama winning. The entire state of Alabama blows.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:03 PM ^
Auburn looks like 2008 Michigan on offense
November 26th, 2010 at 3:04 PM ^
Newton is looking sharp.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:06 PM ^
That series was a preview of Roh and Martin vs. Pryor tomorrow.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:07 PM ^
Newton has been getting his salad tossed through two drives. He looks lost.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:08 PM ^
Auburn's secondary looked like ours on that TD. Now I don't feel so bad.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:14 PM ^
Ha! 3rd and 8 sack by Fairley and he gets a celebration penalty.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:15 PM ^
+4th down conversion.
As much as I hate Fairley he got shafted pretty good right there.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:21 PM ^
It certainly appears to me that the NCAA doesn't want to risk having another year with a vacated "NCAA Championship." It only takes one or two stragegically-placed "penalties" to affect most games. This one definitely dug Auburn a bigger hole than they have already dug for themselves.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:32 PM ^
how cynical we have become
November 26th, 2010 at 3:15 PM ^
Didn't deserve it either. And I feel pretty dirty about defending Fairley.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:16 PM ^
What a bs penalty
November 26th, 2010 at 3:16 PM ^
21-0. Ouch.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:17 PM ^
The pro style offense works just fine. Evidence - Alabama
November 26th, 2010 at 3:22 PM ^
It works even better when the opposition's defense isn't very good and their offense can't stay on the field.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:19 PM ^
November 26th, 2010 at 3:51 PM ^
November 26th, 2010 at 3:21 PM ^
Auburn can not move the ball at all...Cam Newton is gonna have to win this one with his arm.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:22 PM ^
Jeez. The Pitt/WVU was better than this. Another three and out for Auburn.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:24 PM ^
So, uh, how about Boise State or TCU playing for the BCS Title Game? Cause that looks super probable after this first quarter.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:26 PM ^
November 26th, 2010 at 3:27 PM ^
November 26th, 2010 at 3:24 PM ^
A MSU/Alabama bowl game would be UGLY. Ten times worse than the Iowa game
November 26th, 2010 at 3:24 PM ^
November 26th, 2010 at 3:32 PM ^
Great hustle play. please score Auburn, this game is incredibly boring.
November 26th, 2010 at 3:37 PM ^
Alabama's pretty good.
Also, did they really just praise Cam Newton for that terrible pass?
November 26th, 2010 at 3:41 PM ^
Anyone else watching this? I think this could be a good game. I think Martinez' injury and CU's rejuvenation after Hawkins' firing is going to make this a pretty tight contest.
Also, the atmosphere at Memorial Stadium is awesome, and proof NU was a fantastic addition to the Big Ten.
