Excellent postgame video from the locker room on Saturday
For those not on Instagram, Michigan Football posted an awesome video postgame from the locker room on Saturday. Coach Harbaugh tells the guys that they were born for this and gives the game ball to everyone, including the coaching staff. He then singles out Coach Gattis for some praise, who in turn, calls for Mike Macdonald, which turns into a team celebration. You can tell this team loves each other. This coaching staff seems united. This is really awesome to see. Screw all you haters, this team is awesome! This might be my favorite Michigan football team in quite some time.

somebody posted that top one yesterday, but it's worth watching again. the only thing they were missing was the 'its great - to be- a michigan wolverine!' the genuine looks of pure joy, camaraderie and excitement really make this team seem quite different on virtually every level. go blue, beat the turtles and prepare for an ohio mashing.

Ah, dangit. I looked but didn't see it. I will take my lashings. Was it a main post or a comment in a different post?

It was a main post on the board, but looks like it was already pushed to the second page. Nonetheless, it's probably best to look back a page or two with stuff like this. This board is unreal in how quickly something like this gets posted!

Found it. Doh! Even had postgame speech in the title. Facepalm. Ah well.

Eh, it’s fine. The other thread got hijacked by a concern troll calling our staff “Division 2 caliber.”

agree - i was waiting for it so i could join in, in my living room... but jsut a lot of talk and kudos. still great to see

Filiaga is one LARGE human being

Something about this team feels so much different than the previous 6 teams under harbaugh and if it comes down to one thing i would say its the leadership. I am gonna enjoy watching us rip the turtles to shreds. I just want a win against ohio state more than anything else. I will lay off the Harbaugh hate for at least 2 years meaning 2022 would be a freebe for harbaugh if he were to have a disappointing season. Thats how much a win against the buckeyes would mean. We need this as a fanbase more than winning the big ten or making the playoff. Its our best shot to beat them!

Your excessive, unrelenting, continuous, and verifiable hate cannot be white-washed away with one random post.
November 15th, 2021 at 2:28 PM ^
my hate is not unrelenting. I give credit where credit is due. I predicted us to win by 10 and we would have had we not taken a knee late in the game. We were clearly the superior team. No complaints whatsoever from yesterdays game. You need to lighten up a bit

"And regardless of the outcome this season he will go down as one of the most overrated coaches ever considering the HYPE he received when they hired him. Has any coach had so much hype before? not that i recall. I dont think he has enough years left to make up for all the disappointing seasons he has had since his hire." — RX wolverine, 11-11-2021

you predicted us to lose to penn state. why are you even here exactly?
November 15th, 2021 at 3:58 PM ^
Don can be pessimistic but he’s clearly a fan. You’ve been nothing but a concern troll all season.
November 15th, 2021 at 4:56 PM ^
You mean his whole life!

Don has been carbon-dated to be approximately 2500 years old, and we respect our elders. Besides, he’s a good dude. You could take some lessons from him.

Don, don't you think it's at least a little unfair to quote the words he wrote?
Poor guy has enough trouble keeping his excuses straight—#JimmyLake—much less being responsible for what he writes.

Great see, what a team environment. It makes me miss being a college athlete. It's also great to see the coaches get in on the fun. I'm glad to see they are having fun. And btw...how large of a human is Chuck Filiaga?

i think Cade deserved a game ball for yesterday. Also Zinter's neck is a cylindrical column. BLOCK HEAD.

Love seeing this admittedly again. This team and staff have great chemistry.

Chemistry - it does a UM football team good.

Winning is more fun than losing.

It's not often we get an inside look at the team's postgame celebration in the locker room. It just fires me up.

Winning makes it all easier but I never quite bought the stories that the guys on the team had given up on the coaches after last year. Harbaugh can absolutely rub some people the wrong way and that's on him to an extent, but he defends his players any time they need it, he coaches with a fire and passion that is contagious, and he seems willing to admit fault and change his approach when necessary. Hard not to want to play for a guy like that.
November 15th, 2021 at 4:11 PM ^
Mr. Blue, you make a good case. What especially strikes me is that Harbaugh admits mistakes and adapts. That's really rare with hard-charging Type A guys. Usually it's denial, evasion, or sneering at anyone asking a question.
November 15th, 2021 at 4:30 PM ^
Thanks for posting. That locker room video is so fantastic! Culture is the trendy term in college football and basketball these days and Harbaugh looks to have built a tremendous culture this season. Certainly hasn't been that way some years in the past.
November 15th, 2021 at 5:36 PM ^
that's a beautiful vid
November 15th, 2021 at 7:48 PM ^
I know everyone thinks the video is positive but I just think it shows me how boring harbaugh is. I do think speeches can get a team fired up to start he game or half so hey don't come out flat. Every "speech" I've heard harbaughh give, if I was 18 I'd just be thinking oh great, coach is going to blabber for a couple minutes. I'm more of the Sherrone Moore type motivation.

Worthy of being posted again anyways.
UM and OSU wins set up an awesome game for all the marbles. I can’t help but fall into belief.
Mr. Brightside @ The Big House against OSU while playing for the division…would be epic.

No matter how much frustration and increased blood pressure this program brings us, we can be proud to be fans. Great group of kids, incredible football players, and coaches who undoubtedly love this university and most of all their players. It really is an easy program to get behind.
We are 9-1 guys. 3 months ago if anyone even suggested a 9 win season it was given the Maize colored glasses response
November 15th, 2021 at 9:00 PM ^
THIS is the kind of energy I was hoping to see from Harbaugh this year. The team seems really eager to celebrate each coach, and that is a huge positive for this team
November 16th, 2021 at 12:10 AM ^
Omg that’s awesome. The kids love their coaches and that’s fun to see!
Gattis shares the spotlight with McDonald! Close knit classy guys.
November 16th, 2021 at 12:58 PM ^
It's awesome to see how much passion those kids have for their coaches. So many like to criticize and dwell on the negative, but, clearly those assistant coaches are doing something right, if the kids are getting so excited for them to be acknowledged like they did after that win.
