I'm too wasted to watch evening games. Muppets, bitches! Muppets!
November 6th, 2010 at 7:54 PM ^
That's not too wasted...that's getting ready for your second wind! You've got an extra hour to sleep tonight, son! ;-)
November 6th, 2010 at 8:09 PM ^
Dammit I missed your DST reference
Why aren't I Interested in watching Oklahoma? Well maybe I would be if Paul Robeson were performing.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:04 PM ^
(But DST?)

Luckily we get Stanford-Arizona, and Arkansas-S Carolina's not bad. Not the most glorious slate of games...but as I said, I'm enjoying it much more after today than I have the last month...

(Funny thing is, with the LSU win, Arkansas and Stanford winning...all the people who will never have anything to do with Michigan Football again may pull off a victory).
November 6th, 2010 at 9:26 PM ^
Toney Clemons had a fumble returned for a touchdown in Colorado's epic meltdown against Kansas (led 45-17 in the 4th quarter only to lose 52-45).
So we got that going for us. Which is nice.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:01 PM ^
Awwwwwwwwwww ;-P
November 6th, 2010 at 7:55 PM ^
If you get it watch espn goal line. it is a very cool.
November 6th, 2010 at 7:56 PM ^
It is especially exciting to watch after Michigan wins AND Central Michigan beating rival WMU yesterday. Best weekend I've had in a while football-wise.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:24 PM ^
I go to Central and was in the student section last night. It was sad to see the stands empty out after halftime when there was no place to stand in the bleachers at the beginning of the game, especially since we were up 10-8, but i guess the buzz wore off and sobering up in the cold isn't much fun. Regardless, it was an excellent game and a game Central really needed to save our season. Without a doubt, the best, most exciting CMU game I've been to. Nothing like storming the field and singing the fight song with the players afterward.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:01 PM ^
Does anybody have the highlights of the game with the call of Beckman and Brandstatter? From what I've heard they were going nuts.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:11 PM ^
All the highlights from that game could take a hour to listen to.

I'm sure they were going crazy though...they were just a little hard to hear over the other 110,000.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:00 PM ^
And we get an extra hour tonigh to celebrate M's amazing victory!!!!
November 6th, 2010 at 8:12 PM ^
I get the Stanford-Zona game. I was worried I would get the other game that I have no interest in watching.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:13 PM ^
Yes I was just as concerned. Thank God, that other game looks to be a snoozer.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:13 PM ^
Now that i can breathe again, I am ready for my next game...
November 6th, 2010 at 8:17 PM ^
are showing.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:25 PM ^
Sadly, I too grew up south of the border. I hate scarlet and f'ng grey. During my stint in grade school, I bet a nun, the principle, on the game for two successive years. It was the last time i bet on a Umich football game; got my win.
But yes, OU is my other team. I went to both, degree from UM only.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:13 PM ^
I'm actually excited to watch the Stanford-Arizona game. Get to see our future head coach in action lulz ;)
November 6th, 2010 at 8:16 PM ^
nope now he is gonna coach the 49ers
November 6th, 2010 at 8:28 PM ^
I think that he stayed in college only for a chance at the umich job, and it looks like that is no longer a possibility for him or others for quite some time. He is NFL bound.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:44 PM ^
I'm sure this will happen, but man the track record of college coaches making it in the pro ranks is pretty scary. Wish him the best of luck if he leaves, but I would not look forward to a long and fruitful career with Alex Smith as his QB.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:16 PM ^
a replay of the game. There's a reason God invented the DVR.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:22 PM ^
You're a brave man. I'd end up in the hospital watching that game twice in one day.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:56 PM ^
to know what to watch and what to fast-forward.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:28 PM ^
I have to agree with Mberger, I think he was down before the ball came out.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:30 PM ^
Out here in Cali it's still 5:29? This is not evening!
/s
November 6th, 2010 at 9:00 PM ^
In the future I will only title them the "later than other games thread".
November 6th, 2010 at 8:37 PM ^
Texas looks awful. Again. UNACCEPTABLE, seriously, you would think that having the pick of the crop of the best players in one of the hottest talent areas in the country would be enough.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:01 PM ^
K-State is now up 17-0 on Texas. The Longhorns are absolutely crumbling.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:02 PM ^
New Mexico hits a last second field goal against Wyoming to improve to 1-8. Bedlam ensues.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:04 PM ^
of Harbaugh to go on TV to pump up Luck for Heisman. It's a team sport, guy.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:06 PM ^
The Team, The Team, The Team. But maybe he forgot that when he threw Bo under the bus.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:04 PM ^
But they had a big lead on Oregon too early and blew it. So lets see what happens.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:05 PM ^
Why is Stanford blowing a train horn when they score? Are they trying to be Purdue?
November 6th, 2010 at 9:16 PM ^
I'd guess it might have something to do with their marching band being too disorganized/high to play the fight song.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:09 PM ^
A&M runs back the 2nd half kickoff for a TD. Now up 19-0 on Oklahoma in College Station.
Will a win cause my cousin to stop referring to Mike Sherman as "Fred Flintstone"? Probably not.

lolwut
November 6th, 2010 at 9:23 PM ^
I have a cousin who played in the 12th Man program in the early 90's who calls me whenever they lose to drunkenly complain about the Aggie program. It basically just ends up with him reeling off all the mistakes the team made that are directly attributable to coaching and never would have happened under Jackie Sherrill, listing all the other coaches who won that week at supposedly inferior programs followed by "and all we got is fucking Fred Flintstone over there hiding behind his clipboard." Then he usually signs off by calling RC Slocum a homo and hanging up.
Always entertaining.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:06 PM ^
Tell him A&M was only good* when Texas was bad. (*and by "good" I mean win a crappy SWC only to get gang-raped in a bowl by ND. Which tells you how long it's been).
November 6th, 2010 at 9:17 PM ^
See, Ron Prince could have done this...eventually.

November 6th, 2010 at 9:18 PM ^
I just switched over to the Texas vs K-State game and did a double take. Also, Oklahoma is losing. Wow. If this keeps up I am thinking that Texas fans might be featured prominently in TWIS.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:04 PM ^
Man, Nebraska isn't leaving much behind...
November 6th, 2010 at 9:24 PM ^
It's 24-0 Wildcats, and they're making it look easy.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:24 PM ^
1) HORRIBLE pick by Garcia.
2) Is USC's mascot's name really "Cocky"?
November 6th, 2010 at 9:29 PM ^
They wanted to go with Sweet Dick Willie but they chickened out (get it, chickened out).
November 6th, 2010 at 9:27 PM ^
Remember when Texas was in the National Championship last year?
November 6th, 2010 at 9:30 PM ^
I seem to remember a lot of shots of Colt McCoy on the sideline, but not this National Championship game you speak of.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:28 PM ^
Texas finally does something right (long bomb TD)...and it's called back because of a holding call that didn't even need to happen (the guy being held wasn't even going to sniff Gilbert before he released the ball).
November 6th, 2010 at 9:29 PM ^
Well Texas fans, your team is going to lose. 68 yard touchdown pass called back for holding? Yeah, that is not going to end with a win.
I'm a very slight and casual Texas fan, in that I like them over most other programs in the Big 12, but I am sort of loling right now at this. What's Mack's excuse? Garrett Gilbert sucking worse than a lobotomized Ryan Mallett?
November 6th, 2010 at 10:08 PM ^
Every loss is a little more spread.
