A bit sad, but the Goat went out style rallying his team from down 27-3 to 27 all before losing playoff game to Rams in last seconds. The fact his team won a Super Bowl the year before says a lot about his long and amazing 10 Super Bowl career.  Hope he is healthy after all the hits he took the last game.  Look forward to seeing him in a broadcast booth or in any public endeavor he may end up pursuing.  Mostly hope he stays healthy and happy.

All part of the plan. Heard he and Giselle were in AA the other day with a realtor. JH is going to MIN and Brady will be announced as the new HC

Good timing. Left on his own terms, still healthy.

Possible he could have made one more run at a SB, but not that likely.

How great that he's able to retire without an ugly end-of-career decline.

Well done, TB. Congratulations on an amazing career.

It's incredible that there are people - about age 26 or so - old enough to have been a working, taxpaying adult for as long as they were in college, and legitimately complain about not being young anymore, and who don't know a world where Tom Brady wasn't in the NFL.

Good luck TB12.

You could be playing tomorrow if your DC hadn't called a cover zero blitz allowing Stafford to throw the winning td bomb to Kupp. Oh well, helluva career. Canton here he comes.

Better to leave now than regress and be remembered for staying too long. Not to mention how many more hits can he endure.

What a fabulous career with so many great moments. GOAT for sure!

I was in Michigan Stadium on a glorious September day in 98 when Tom Brady won the biggest game of his career, beating Sparty.  Lose that day and it becomes the Drew Hensen show.

Was in old Foxboro Stadium when Bledsoe went down against the Jets, then when TB had his first start and beat Indy and Manning.  Wore my Michigan football sweatshirt that day.  Last game in old dump for the Snow Bowl / Tuck Rule game v Raiders.  Son was born the Monday before the 1st SB win.

All the great games and memories at Gillette, too many to list.  Super Bowl victories and the parades in Boston.  Was in AZ for worst loss against the Giants in the SB going for perfection.

Thanks for all the wonderful memories and moments TB.  Good luck and best wishes for your future.  GO BLUE. GO PATS

Riggs: It’s….something more than that, it’s…

Murtaugh: You’re getting too old for this shit

Riggs: ….yeah…

Murtaugh: How ‘bout that? Finally…

Riggs: But, I can’t be, I’m only….Jesus…

Murtaugh: “You’re only”….can’t beat the clock, Riggs.
