ESPN is giving Mr Smith and Team Gardens some publicity
Just saw this on ESPN and thought it was a worthwhile share...
If my link doesn't work, if someone way smarter than me can correct or embed it .....please do.http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/19698679/amazing-second-act-michigan-vincent-smith
Well done Mr. Smith!!!! Keep up the good work.
2nd page of mgoboard. Be prepared for the fallout.
http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/life-after-hit-good-espn-piece-vincent-smith
Let it go.
If anybody deserves a second post, it's Vincent Smith.
Logged on just to say POST IT ALL YOU WANT.
I may just wait a couple hours and repost it again myself.
Awesome.
You should do that.
Whoever complains, then post it yet again with a tag that says it's being re-posted again just for them.
Someone sure has sand in their clit today
How would one see the 2nd page -- certainly not by hitting page 2. That doesn't work.
Again?
Duck and cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know
We go 10-2 again. Loses against Florida (I know but we're a young team too, and they have payback on their minds) and Ohio state. The press is Harbaugh can't get over the hump.
But next year we reach the natty
You sure you in the right thread bro?
Also, this is a Natty:
This is the College Football National Championship Game:
This has been photoshopped!!
Stop me if you've heard this one before ... .
(My advice to the OP is to repurpose this from the recently-covered Vincent Smith - Team Garden topic into an inspiring "Diet Dew Afficianados - What is your favorite Diet Dew?" post.)
My 59 yr old father would love the Diet Dew topic and would have plenty of advice to share.
You should share that wisdom. Here's my contribution:
- My spouse used to drink something in college they called a "Beam-a-Dew" which was Jim Beam mixed with classic Mt. Dew (1:4 ratio, served on the rocks). As her friends aged, they started drinking "Diet Beam-a-Dew" - I never tried it, because it seemed that classic craft cocktail recipes should be honored.
Used to have the occasional Dew-Dad...of course this was when we always didn't have pepsi or ginger ale to mix with the old grand dad.
First, Beam-A-Dew sounds horrible. I'm gonna try it tonight.
My father is very selective about which type of container (can vs bottle) he drinks out of, based on the situtation. For example... Working out in the barn or around the house? Diet Dew in a bottle only. You can't risk anything contaminating the Dew. And it has to stay cold, in the cooler. Dad can't drink warm Dew.
Sitting down for a nice dinner? Has to be a cold can of Diet Dew. Plastic bottles don't belong at the dinner table.
Sitting down for the big game? A cooler of canned Diet Dew. You can't be going to the fridge and miss anything but you're crushing the Dews, so you would be getting up often, so get the cooler and keep it by your chair.
Diet Dew night cap? Yup. But you can't have that caffeine keeping you up all night, so you have to reach for the often forgotten, Caffeine Free Diet Dew.
Lastly, when a big sale is happening, make sure the entire grocery store knows how much you love your Diet Dew and lace the edges of the shopping cart with all the 6 packs. Example (I know its not Diet Dew but its the best I could find):
Dew posts are always inspiring!
Way to go, Vincent!
2 articles in 2 days. Only LeBron gets that type of royal treatment from E!SPN.
I was lazy with my search... Searching Vince Smith = nothing recent....Searching Vincent Smith = yesterday's post
Powers that be can delete it they wish...
Shame Me if you must.....
or
How dare you merely search.
Don't you know that you are supposed to manually click back at least 5 MGoBoard pages deep and examine every single post to make sure that you are not posting anything redundant with what was already posted four pages deep three days ago?
Failure to do so means the rest of us *gasp* waste a precious internet click on your post, draining vitally important time away from our critical life-saving work.
This isn't the SEC. There are rules, man.
You know, I think that there might be individuals who think the mods keep track of what has been on the board recently and what has not, and I do from about Labor Day to Valentine's Day. Outside of that, I take a quasi-break from mentally keeping track of any of that and just roll with it. I know, some modding, right?
There are certain people and certain causes that warrant a "twice as nice" treatment from the board - especially when the first post has fallen off and cant be read. Vincent Smith, a player who actively posts here, and his #eating cause, are at least in my mind - two of the BEST you could possible do.
Good work OP - nothing to be ashamed of.
and I promise to stay off your lawn
You are forgiven.
Phuckers
For no other reason that to piss off the MGoBlog Illuminati that scour the dark places of MGoBoard looking for any violation of the unwritten rules of posting and rain down negs and snark upon the usurpers who violate them
Not a single downvote!? Have we no shame!? There are rules!
No. The Vincent Smith Rule applies. Glad the op got many upvotes.
Worth it just to see clip of Mr. Smith's "finger guns" again.
Though this topic was covered on the board a couple of days ago and also covered by Brian in his Unverified Voracity, this one came with "finger guns" and "finger guns" always gets my upvote!
I'm thinking that ESPN just verified the voracity of Brian's Unverified Voracity post. Should he now rename it Verified Voracity in respect of his finally making it to the big time - being veritably voracified by legitimate media (well, ESPN)?
and gives him some much deserved publicity.
version of MGoBlog will allow easier scanning of topics to alleviate double posts and the inevitable double-post beat down
I honestly don't mind if this is posted a few times.
How many former M football players are both working this hard in the community AND active members on this site?
Give Mr. Smith all the props he can handle.
Maybe my favorite player of all time
