Eric Crouch in a UofM jersey

I'm calling it out. Tate Forcier will be the next Eric Crouch. Nebraskas heisman trophy winner of 2001. But, a more pure passer. Edit: Eric Crouch is faster, but Tate is fast as well. Crouch is more of a straight runner, Tate uses moves. Whatever it takes to get more yards.

Brewers, maybe not now... But he'll get stronger n what not. Theres video of Tate on youtube, not a highlight tape, but his last game and he trucks a kid to get a TD, vs oceanside.

I do not think he is as powerful. Someone already reported how skinny he looks in camp. He favors himself as more of a Colt McCoy. I am hoping he gets his own bromance reality tv show so I can sign up.

Yeah, but the real question is what color would Tate compare himself to? I would guess polka dot, and from that, we know that he's really not "quick" by any stretch. He senses pressure well and rolls out of the pocket, but his lateral quickness and speed are really kinda just above average.

FWIW, Crouch finished second in the Nebraska state Class A 100M dash finals his senior year in spring '97, and finished fourth in the 200M. Whatever his talents are, Tate Forcier is not a state-finals level sprinter. Denard Robinson is the more likely Eric Crouch-like guy.

I heard he got fed up with how slow his receivers were, so he threw a pass from his knees on the goal line, then ran so fast he broke the space-time continuum and traveled forward in time so he was there to catch the ball at the other goal line. True rumor story.

I think Tate definitely has potential to be very good for Michigan. But I am legitimately terrified that there are people out there who think he will be able to do the "run backwards 15 yards, spin, roll out, cut outside and gain 45" routine in D1 football. Tell me nobody really thinks that is going to happen?

It's true. We had a cat that slept on top of the cable box. Occasionally he would wiggle around a bit and turn off the television (or turn it on in the middle of the night). Well, in the middle of the 1993 Rose Bowl Tyrone Wheatley has the ball and breaks free. He's in the open field and it looks like--well, that's when the cat turned off the television set. I have never seen anyone move so quickly.

Yeah. Tate Forcier is going to be just like Eric Crouch. Except it won't be a run-based option and Forcier is a better passer. And if Forcier makes it to the NFL, he won't be asked to switch to wide receiver or safety - he'll be a quarterback. But they're both white and above average runners, so they're mirror images.

This basically said: "Forcier will be Eric Crouch, except Crouch was a much better runner and Forcier is a much better passer. So, aside from skin color and some degree of mobility...bingo." So let's try this: Tate Forcier is just like John Navarre, except shorter and faster, potentially with less of a propensity to throw the ball into the line.
