Elston out Recruiting?

I have seen a flurry of twitter activity with new offers over the last few days. Have to think that's a good sign that he'll remain on staff?

I stopped trusting Sam when he openly mocked and ridiculed people who said Oliver Martin was thinking of transferring a few years back.  One day after Sam did this, Oliver Martin entered the transfer portal.

Multiple times since then, Sam has showed his ass.  Total hack who isn't any different than the rest of the "insider" hacks who sucker money off Michigan fans for fake scoops.

I feel bad for fans who pay real money for that shit.

Allow myself to quote myself from a different thread:

Sam (I think) has said that Minter loves himself some Mike Elston.

If Minter wants Elston then Harbaugh will want Elston. And I think what we're learning is Harbaugh is going to get what he wants if money has any say in the matter.

That puts the whole Clint Hurtt thing in a new light, because maybe Moore was looking at who could coach the D-line. But Hurtt's not an option anyway. (I know, people didn't want him. Not the point I'm making here.)

I have no idea who is doing what. I guess Minter isn't even officially anywhere yet. But we notably haven't named a DC. I would not be surprised if Michigan is still beholden to waiting for all the LA Chargers dust to settle so we even know what we have left.

Elston to DC? Has experience in two modern and successful systems with some overlap in scheme, position group has been the strength of the program and knows the current roster.
