Domani Jackson?
247 has something on his comments after The Game. But the article is behind a paywall. Anyone have access and can give us the gist of it?

Did you know he used to be a HS QB?

Was previously focused on UM/Bama, has to give USC a look considering the Riley hire, decision likely coming December 15th. Sam/Steve are of the opinion that UM did everything that they could in recruiting him.

That tends to be the line when we don’t get guys. My guess we are still outside looking in. Bama is Bama and who knows what the Riley hire does in his mind, but he stuck it out in his USC commitment for a looong time before finally backing out. There’s plenty of reasons for him to come here but seems like he still isn’t convinced. Hope I’m wrong or he changes his mind. Would be great to have him and Will on board to fully weaponize this defensive system
November 29th, 2021 at 12:57 PM ^
well, if you can't convince him after this past weekend.

I'll finish it .....you never were.

Mike Jones

I think in the end he will go to USC. He will get caught up in the hype and it’s the home team. We’ve done all we can do and I just don’t think there’s that strong connection with him.

You must have missed yesterday...

MGrow, HOW ARE YOU FEELING TODAY BABY!?!?! WE FINALLY DID IT! I'm glad you got to witness it again. Hope you enjoy Indy and potentially the CFP (if you plan to go). GO BLUE!

Well.......I'm feeling pretty good regarding Michigan although being diagnosed with Covid on Friday sort of took the edge off things a bit. I was supposed to go to a huge OSU viewing party on Saturday (maybe it was for the best I missed it) but since Friday i've been in isolation in my bedroom with this stupid thing. Fortunately I was vaccinated so all I've gotten is "Covid-Lite" which is more like a winter cold than anything. Was scheduled for my booster this week ironically enough.
Saturday I watched the game alone. But I yelled at my TV loud enough and often enough to lose my voice that day. I was trying to help.
And unfortunately I wont be able to go to Indy because of this but I will definitely be going to a bowl game or two if (and when) Michigan wins this weekend.
Thanks for asking!

That sucks. I was vaxd and caught it on a trip to miami in august. Even having the shot I got to experience all the wonderful symptoms. I would call my covid, a cold on roids sprinkled in with a case of food poisoning level squirts. Good times.
November 29th, 2021 at 1:13 PM ^
Hey don, sorry re: covid, but very glad you are on the mild side of things.
at least you have your dynamite wife to care of you if needed, and the sweet glow of a 42-27 thumping of Ohio to bask in. Should help with all symptoms.
November 29th, 2021 at 1:18 PM ^
I tested positive for it last Monday. Think I got it in Paris. Had the vaccine but it’s been a little rough at points for me. I finally got some good steroids and in two days I feel way better. I’m ready to go back to work Wednesday and get ready for the Bigten Championship Game.

We are undefeated against OSU when you have COVID. I expect you to do your part again next year.

First double post in a while. I wonder if the 29 threads we've created so far today had anything to do with that or just a fail on my part?
November 29th, 2021 at 1:04 PM ^
The threads plus everyone F5ing waiting for Brian's game column to drop.
November 29th, 2021 at 1:18 PM ^
223 threads created since the game ended (not counting deleted by mods) as of about 1:15 pm eastern today.
November 29th, 2021 at 1:02 PM ^
Wait until all the "appreciation" threads start...

Too late.. we already had one for each player, Coach, mgoblog writer, and even a few posters

It's the equivalent of the aftermath of a party. Beer bottles and trash everywhere. The lawn is littered with it, except the beer bottles and stuff are message board threads. I think everyone is excited about the win.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:10 PM ^
It's the MGoBlog equivalent of rushing the field. We'll all go back up in the stands eventually.

Michigan is his dream school. He was silently committed to us. The win over OSU helped us a lot.
I think if Donte Williams doesn't stay at USC that will help us there. Probably between us and Bama.
November 29th, 2021 at 12:39 PM ^
Oh Lord, not the “dream school” thing again! How many of those do we always seem to actually land that are high profile and out of our region? It always seems like the kiss of death, especially when you say it yet you never commit to said dream school.
November 29th, 2021 at 12:51 PM ^
I can't post the entire article so that is kind of out of context. He went on to say the final decision is not about playing at your dream school.
I just posted that so people would know that if he was picking his favorite school he would pick Michigan. He did give a silent verbal to the coaches last year so he was committed at one time just not publicly.
November 29th, 2021 at 12:56 PM ^
At least he didn’t say he always dreamed of being an engineer, then we’d know he was off to Bama.
November 29th, 2021 at 1:06 PM ^
Michigan was my dream school but a solid 2.95 Gpa and growing up dirt poor dashed those hopes.
November 29th, 2021 at 1:16 PM ^
Hoping you went on to some skilled trade or other school/college and can position your kids or grandkids to be an alum. Best legacy you can pass on.
November 29th, 2021 at 1:22 PM ^
I did and am doing well. Not trade school although skilled trades isn’t a bad gig for any young person now days. A welder makes twice the 1st year pay as an entry level college grad with 1/5 the investment.

Or they have a cousin with a step sister who lives in Michigan. Or their grandma lives there, or a parents Auntie is in Kalamazoo....
November 29th, 2021 at 12:35 PM ^
Think we definitely improved our standing with him, however, Bama is still Bama and I'm not sure how Riley going to USC impacts his feelings on them
November 29th, 2021 at 12:35 PM ^
Steve Lorenz said "Michigan has done everything possible. If he doesn't sign with Michigan he simply did not want to come there."
After watching three 3 stars (Moore, Gray and Turner) run stride for stride with 3 first round NFL WR's all game and make life difficult for them, this defensive coaching staff will squeeze everything out of the talent they have.
The incoming class of Will Johnson, Myles Pollard and Kody Jones is still a terrific incoming group and Domani Jackson would be the cherry on top. I think retaining McDonald, Clinkscale and Bellamy is top priority over any secondary recruit going forward.
November 29th, 2021 at 12:51 PM ^
Don't sleep on Zeke Berry. We're leading for his services and I actually like his tape more than any of them. I think he has a chance to be an elite player for us.

Yes. Pay those men their money.
