Domani Jackson?

247 has something on his comments after The Game.  But the article is behind a paywall.  Anyone have access and can give us the gist of it?

Was previously focused on UM/Bama, has to give USC a look considering the Riley hire, decision likely coming December 15th. Sam/Steve are of the opinion that UM did everything that they could in recruiting him.

That tends to be the line when we don’t get guys. My guess we are still outside looking in. Bama is Bama and who knows what the Riley hire does in his mind, but he stuck it out in his USC commitment for a looong time before finally backing out. There’s plenty of reasons for him to come here but seems like he still isn’t convinced. Hope I’m wrong or he changes his mind. Would be great to have him and Will on board to fully weaponize this defensive system

I think in the end he will go to USC. He will get caught up in the hype and it’s the home team. We’ve done all we can do and I just don’t think there’s that strong connection with him.

Well.......I'm feeling pretty good regarding Michigan although being diagnosed with Covid on Friday sort of took the edge off things a bit.  I was supposed to go to a huge OSU viewing party on Saturday (maybe it was for the best I missed it) but since Friday i've been in isolation in my bedroom with this stupid thing.  Fortunately I was vaccinated so all I've gotten is "Covid-Lite" which is more like a winter cold than anything.  Was scheduled for my booster this week ironically enough.

Saturday I watched the game alone.  But I yelled at my TV loud enough and often enough to lose my voice that day.  I was trying to help.

And unfortunately I wont be able to go to Indy because of this but I will definitely be going to a bowl game or two if (and when) Michigan wins this weekend.

Thanks for asking!

I tested positive for it last Monday. Think I got it in Paris. Had the vaccine but it’s been a little rough at points for me. I finally got some good steroids and in two days I feel way better. I’m ready to go back to work Wednesday and get ready for the Bigten Championship Game.

Michigan is his dream school. He was silently committed to us. The win over OSU helped us a lot.

I think if Donte Williams doesn't stay at USC that will help us there. Probably between us and Bama.

I can't post the entire article so that is kind of out of context. He went on to say the final decision is not about playing at your dream school.

I just posted that so people would know that if he was picking his favorite school he would pick Michigan. He did give a silent verbal to the coaches last year so he was committed at one time just not publicly.

Think we definitely improved our standing with him, however, Bama is still Bama and I'm not sure how Riley going to USC impacts his feelings on them

Steve Lorenz said "Michigan has done everything possible. If he doesn't sign with Michigan he simply did not want to come there."

After watching three 3 stars (Moore, Gray and Turner) run stride for stride with 3 first round NFL WR's all game and make life difficult for them, this defensive coaching staff will squeeze everything out of the talent they have.

The incoming class of Will Johnson, Myles Pollard and Kody Jones is still a terrific incoming group and Domani Jackson would be the cherry on top. I think retaining McDonald, Clinkscale and Bellamy is top priority over any secondary recruit going forward.
