Devin Fuller update
Dammit!!
That's weird. Last I heard, he was decently high on us.
I thought he was supposed to visit soon?
Ehh.. Unfortunate, but I guess it shows the coaches just really don't want or need a QB this class. Opens up more spots for CB, DT, WR, RB, and OT.
You high? The kid is an absolute stud, and would fit in this class perfectly..
based on his comments on the board, Waggles probably beats off to Fuller highlights every night.
...how'd you know?!
Take a few steps off the ledge, there, bud. This just shows the coaches didn't really want a QB in this class and probably weren't pursuing him that hard. Otherwise, I'm pretty confident we would've beaten out Kansas in his top 11.
And he'd fit perfectly? We don't even know what he'd play. QB? I'm more confident about Morris and Gardner, personally. DB? I'd rather that last spot go to Wright or Reeves.
Yeah, he's a good player, and a heck of an athlete, but we just don't really have room. CB, DT, WR, and RB are more pressing needs, and we'll most likely see that in how the coaches finish the class.
So..
That whole extra CB thing probably closed the door on Fuller.
He really wants to play QB.
Now does keeping Stonum for 2012 give us one less scholarship? I think so, and I predict Pipkins, Darboh, O'Brien, and Diamond to get us to 25.
Sounds good. Dunn can be #26. Play ball.
It does and probably means one WR instead of two. That overall number is hardly set in stone. It still wouldn't surprise me to see a class of 28 come February.
Payton over Darboh, I hope. But they might get both, because it seems like they're going for 2.

that with Stonum getting the redshirt suspension they will adjust that to one WR for this year. I have no inside info, but that is my guess.
Of the best players in this 2012 class I think Fuller has the best highlight tape next to Nelson Agholor. Fuller looks like a little Vick in the whole 8 minutes.
This has been a rough day... No Stonum or Hagerup. Let's hope the roster comes out tomorrow so that I won't be depressed by seeing only minimal gains where needed/minimal losses where needed.
not to sound rude but, who cares? We will be just fine without a QB in this class. One more recruit we can add elsewhere.
to bring him in as a "QB" more than as a QB.
hence why we didn't make the cut. refer to my previous comment for opinion. Bring on another quality CB.
I disagree. Top 50 kids are like the MLB Draft: you take best player available regardless of need. I mean, the recruiting class will still obviously be fine, but any time a top 50 kid crosses your team off his list, it sucks a little bit, even if he didn't play a position of huge need.
Obviously the coaches see it my way. Refer to Tommy Schutt. lol
I just think that's a mistake.
Sorry, don't want to threadjack, but quick question for the night game.
1. Will the golf course be open for parking?
2. If so, what time will they open to parking/tailgating for the game?
3. What time should we get there?
4. Will there be lighting?
4: No they'll play the first ever "pitch black" game.
I think he is talking about lighting the golf course
Wow, man. I realize snark and edgy witticisms are held in high regard around here but don't let your rush to get in that epic zinger get in the way of common sense.

When you didn't search the site
Every scouting site has been talking about how weak this years QB class is. Careful what you wish for tho , remember a few months ago everyone here was begging for Zeke Pike and then folks saw him play.
I think the fact that he chose a top 11 instead of a top 10 is more interesting than UM not being in the group.
Sounds like a guy that would be perfect for the B1G.
I think he'll need to add one more team to his top 10 to make it 12... Then he'd be perfect for the B1G
Yup, kid must be a Spinal Tap fan. Probably would be a shoe salesman if he couldn't play football. Maybe a haberdasher.

"But this goes to 11..."
He'll come around. A little-known provision in the NCAA bylaws requires all Devins whose last name ends in -er to go to Michigan.
I could be wrong but That # 32 looks like he'd be better as a slot receiver.

24/7 has an article about Greg Garmon has made a change in his top 4 schools but it's subscription only. Hopefully Tom will mention something about him later.

Sorry but I can't start my own thread and I didn't see this posted anywhere, but we aren't in Noah Spence's top seven either. Kind of expected but sad nonetheless
