"Detective" Scott Bell notices something interesting about Twitter activity today from our coaching staff

Looks like one side of the ball is quite active on the Twitters while the other is strangely quiet.

A foreshadowing?

It very well could have because I'll admit I havent read all the comments in all the recruiting threads.  I didnt see anything specific to the topic posted as a thread for discussion which is why i created it.  Seemed "interesting" to say the least, to me anyways.

If this is redundant news I apologize and I'm sure the mods will delete it.

I wouldn't say redundant. I would say that we're getting a number of indicators just in the last day or so that may tell us something about the disposition of the staff. And we don't really have an organized conversation about it.

And it would be a pretty big deal, all told. Because if we conclude that the entire D side of the staff is scheduled for defenestration but that the O side is staying (a theory of which this data point is but one component), that tells us a lot about what to expect going into next year. Harbaugh is committed and Michigan is committed to him for the season; an extension will be signed; the offensive staff will be retained; the defense is cleaning house.

This is as much information as we've had available to us in quite a while. I think it's very worthy of discussion.

I agree with you 100%.  I believe all indicators point to the Defensive staff not being retained and the Offensive staff told that they are.  Thus, you have to deduce that Harbaugh is staying and an extension is just a formality.  Hopefully with a significant reduction in pay that can be thrown at hiring a talented DC and coaching staff.
