He was misinformed about the rb situation at Auburn, he thought they had an rb commited, they dont. This kids recruitment has more twists and turns than a Tarantino movie

there is no there there. It baffles me that anybody would want to go to nowhere. Perhaps it will baffle Dee, too.

Or perhaps he will be presented with a smorgasbord of Auburn "hostess" options one of which wins his young heart/the young Hart.

That was the most confusing comment ever.  I had to read it 3 times to even understand what you were talking about. Here's a rewrite of your first paragraph:

"I've been to Auburn before and there is nothing there.  It baffles me that anyone would want to move to the middle of nowhere.  Maybe Dee will also see that and be turned off."

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

just outside Tuscaloosa. Brooding 300 pound Black guy juar LIVES over the fire pit basting ribs from noon on. Only "vegetable" on the menu is white bread.

There's also a place called Krueger's further out of town, as you near Greensboro. If the pictures of 12-year-olds with blood on their faces from their first deer kills don't put you off, the shaved pork is amazing.

from the first reply:

I also don't have insider access, but basically this response should be interpreted as yes, Auburn, WAS off the list, but is NOW back on because he was misinformed about their RB situation.

thread.

I'm interested in the news just like everybody else.  I wasn't ridiculing any of these posts or any of the earlier posts.   I was just saying, "D'oh!"

In fact, I agree; it is kind of interesting that Dee apparently changed his mind on Auburn so fast and so completely based on a possible issue of early, prominent playing time.  Because he'd sure get that chance here.  Heck, he might just want to get an "official" to visit Auburn and get out of town for a weekend.  I'd take an official visit to Auburn, too, if somebody would offer me one, in, say, about December, or maybe March, and I could get a tee time.

If Dee is smart he will look at the depth chart at Auburn and notice they just signed the #1 RB from last years class in Michael Dyer and then look at Michigan's depth chart where we are considering giving reps to slot receivers Kelvin Grady and Jeremy Gallon.

Nothing would surprise me. Don't underestimate the lure of playing much closer to home, although it's hard to compare AA and Auburn and think the latter is competitive as a place to spend four years.

...showing good form by being polite to the Auburn coaches. It isn't far for him to travel and he probably feels obligated to visit to some degree once the coaches explained things. He's a smart kid. At the end of the day, he'll select the school that has the most prestigious degree that also happens to offer the most storied football program in the nation. (Not to mention the largest, coolest stadium.)

I wonder if these kids get sold on playing in cold weather states as a benefit to their career in the NFL. Because at some point they may have to play a playoff game in Green Bay..

Well, actually it happened in NCAA11 on my PS3.

October 8, 2011. Michigan is 4-0 going into conference play versus Wisconsin at Camp Randall.

Senior John Clay is breaking quite a few tackles, leading Wisconsin to a 24-17 lead half-way through the third.

Michigan features Fitzgerald Toussaint at RB and is using Stephan Hopkins as the short-yardage power back.  Robinson at QB.

Toussaint goes down for the game with an injury on a bone-jarring tackle.  In comes.... number 32 true freshman Dee Hart. Robinson and Hart lead UM to a come-from behind road upset against the undefeated, #10 badgers.  Hart picks up 80 yards, including a 52-yard burst down the side line on the stretch play for the game-winning TD, and 4 catches for another 25 yards. His play keys the victory, setting him up for an amazing career.

Dee, I have seen it. You should have seen the crowd go silent, the only sound some of them cursing your name under their breaths. You should see yourself in the winged helmet, like I have, streaking down the sideline. And when you're back in the Big House, you should hear 110,000+ fans screaming for you, and for the restored glory of Michigan Football. I've heard it, and it's a beautiful thing. Make it real, Dee!
