That guy could win a B1G championship as a starter. Glad to have him on the team!
January 14th, 2023 at 1:09 AM ^
Probably our 2024 qb tbh
January 14th, 2023 at 4:58 AM ^
Stetson Bennett was a walk on too. So not necessarily horrible if he ends up being our 2024 starter.
January 14th, 2023 at 8:22 AM ^
Closer to home, so was Brian Griese.
January 14th, 2023 at 11:33 AM ^
Not this again.
January 14th, 2023 at 10:09 AM ^
What is even more impressive is that Stetson Bennett is doing it while being older than Tom Brady.
January 14th, 2023 at 9:07 AM ^
Yeah I have full confidence in Warren. Glad they have him a scholarship.
January 14th, 2023 at 11:39 AM ^
Our Warren piece is now in place.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:17 PM ^
Yeah buddy!
January 13th, 2023 at 10:49 PM ^
Peanut time!!
Light Weight!!!

January 13th, 2023 at 10:17 PM ^
2025 Davis Warren hoists the CFP National Championship QB in the first 12-team playoff. Taking over for JJ and winning a second straight title.
The media loves the former walk-on and they all forget about 25 year old Stetson Bennett
January 13th, 2023 at 10:31 PM ^
I’d prefer he hoist a trophy but I’ll take it
January 13th, 2023 at 10:34 PM ^
It’s only fair to ask which QB he hoists in that scenario?
January 13th, 2023 at 10:42 PM ^
Champions hoist trophies. Legends hoist QBs.
January 14th, 2023 at 7:54 AM ^
Himself! Adding to his legend.
January 14th, 2023 at 9:40 AM ^
You’re treading into Michael Barrett territory there, be careful.
January 13th, 2023 at 11:41 PM ^
We have hoisted back to back Big Ten Championships. No need to be hyperbolic.
January 14th, 2023 at 12:43 PM ^
Really? I thought we won them.
January 14th, 2023 at 11:18 AM ^
How do you expect the media to forget about Stetson Bennett when Davis Warren is hoisting him on live television?
Also, two pretty solid double last name names.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:18 PM ^
What does this say about our scholarship situation? I thought we were already at like 96 with all the portal pickups? They must be expecting additional attrition
January 13th, 2023 at 10:25 PM ^
There will be more attrition, especially after spring practice. Top 25 teams are losing anywhere from 10-20 players this year. Michigan is below the bar so far.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:56 PM ^
To some extent, scholarships are a thing of the past with NIL.
January 14th, 2023 at 8:30 AM ^
How many players are getting enough NIL money that they would forgo a $76,000 scholarship because of NIL money?
January 14th, 2023 at 9:23 AM ^
People like Keegan, Corum, Barret, Johnson, etc... And it wouldn't surprise me if JJ willingly gave up his for a teammate like Davis Warren to get rewarded for hard work. McCarthy seems like the type that would do such a thing...
January 14th, 2023 at 2:01 AM ^
It says that he's good enough to be on scholarship.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:19 PM ^
Unrelated, has anyone else heard the rumblings of Dan Enos return to coach in Ann Arbor?
January 13th, 2023 at 11:06 PM ^
As an analyst?
January 14th, 2023 at 8:37 AM ^
The way he left? I can’t imagine Jim would want him back.
January 14th, 2023 at 10:24 AM ^
I don't know the story behind why he stays 1 or 2 years somewhere then goes somewhere else. Michigan needs him for a year?
January 14th, 2023 at 12:27 PM ^
Do we really want a sparty who was already on our staff and bailed once before??....I don't!!
January 13th, 2023 at 10:19 PM ^
That's awesome and definitely appropriate given where he was on the depth chart.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:22 PM ^
Is Cam Cameron working at Michigan now?
January 13th, 2023 at 10:24 PM ^
From clicking around his twitter, it looks like he’s selling real estate.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:27 PM ^
Yep, just realized I could do that, and saw the same thing.
January 13th, 2023 at 11:11 PM ^
Cam Cameron >>>>>> Matt Weiss. If he's tired of selling real estate.
He coached many future NFL players, including Jim Harbaugh, Elvis Grbac, Todd Collins, Amani Toomer, Derrick Alexander and Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard.
January 14th, 2023 at 9:26 AM ^
Except that he runs an old-school pass game that wouldn't seem to mesh well with today's RPO and ZR games, nor fit in with Harbaugh's modern run offense.
January 14th, 2023 at 6:52 AM ^
Cameron has obvious historical connections with Michigan, but I still found the OP's reference odd at first glance. EC is old-school, though, and I couldn't find any others on the WWW.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:26 PM ^
I really like this kid. He can play.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:28 PM ^
Great news. He is our next starting QB in 2025 after JJ leaves. The kid earned it. Am glad he isn't leaving.
January 14th, 2023 at 6:04 AM ^
Jadyn Davis??
January 14th, 2023 at 9:45 AM ^
Harbaugh may have burned this bridge
January 14th, 2023 at 12:29 PM ^
I would be surprised if Jadyn Davis came in and passed Davis as a true frosh.
50/50 JJ goes pro after next year? He does have a Blake Corum I love my school experience vibe to him.
Winning it all next season may effect that decision.
January 14th, 2023 at 2:12 PM ^
Rarely are true frosh good enough. And Warren showed a ton, looked as good as McNamara when he played and that's a high bar. I'd be shocked if Davis won the job in 2024.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:30 PM ^
Young man can fling that rock. He looks good when he gets action. Hell yeah congrats young fella
January 14th, 2023 at 11:50 AM ^
He doesn't have JJ's legs but he does seem reasonably quick and agile.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:32 PM ^
He earned this. Well deserved.
January 13th, 2023 at 10:36 PM ^
Pure Awesome. Pure Michigan.
January 14th, 2023 at 11:53 AM ^
True! Maybe we can get Tim Allen to do a promo for his NIL!
January 14th, 2023 at 12:51 PM ^
He did... it's the last 25 years of wearing Michigan shirts on his sitcoms.
