Damn! Cat's out of the bag. Now they'll try to prepare!

Now the world knows that Denard has been cleared to play!!!  (Good thing Hoosiers can't read.)

Anticlimactic to us (for sure).  But it does show how Denard has caught the nation's attention.

I linked to another article after reading the article referenced in your post and found this interesting paragraph in the link:

Michigan seems ready on offense—scoring 41 points a game—but its defense is allowing 23 points a game and seems likely to hold the team back from a special season.

Someone has to print that sentence and post it on every locker.  That's a pretty brutal statement (maybe true, but still brutal).

Multiple concussions

Hope he is OK

Rodriguez, on injuries: Safety Mike Williams has had multiple concussions, which is a concern. Tailback Mike Shaw (sprained knee) is day-to-day. Linebacker Brandon Herron (ankle) and safety Carvin Johnson (knee) could return Saturday. Forcier got hit on the quad but is fine. Tailback Fitz Toussaint hurt his shoulder and will have more tests.

I hope so too. Sounds like if he has had multiple concussions (uknown what the time frame was for having them), that he'll likely be done playing for good. Very unfortunate.

I wonder also, if this is what was holding him back from even being mentioned in the depth chart. From being a starter last year to not even being considered for playing time, I have to think it definitely has to do with this development.

Don't forget that Indiana will also have to prepare against the other 2 qb's as well.  It is nice to know that we have 3 qbs teams have to be prepared against.  This should make it even easier for Denard in the end.

gaurantee us the win if we play our game this Saturday.  Watching and comparing Indiana in the first few games, Michigan shouldn't have a problem putting alot of points on the board.  Therefore, I don't think its very far fetched to say that if our defense holds them under 20, we should pull out a convincing win in Bloomington.

I think the most annoying thing about watching this game will be listening to the commentators constantly mention last year's fumble/interception/takeaway that caused Bill Lynch to throw his gum.  Even the preview featured during the Bowling Green game covered this.

That awful feeling I had after we barely escaped a crappy Indiana team last year hasn't been forgotten.  I want a blowout so I don't have to feel that way again.

Just changed my plans for Saturday !  Off to Bloomington for me and the wife  -  sit with several thousand maize and blue rooters and cheer on the Wolverines !   (without the unnecessary comments by TV announcers).  I'll listen to Beckman & Branstator, thank you.

Indiana never sells out  -  I am sure there are plenty of tickets available ... hopefully in the visitors sections.  Bloomington is one hour south of Indy  -  3:30 start  -  hope more fans decide to make the trip !

Indiana doesn't sell out regularly.  But when we come to town, they have a decent size crowd (by their standards.)  Memorial Stadium has a capacity of 52,929.  These are the attendance numbers of our previous trips there...

2006 - 42,320

2004 - 35,001

1999 - 41,516

1997 - 42,230

1995 - 44,623

1992 - 51,735

1990 - 51,948

I get the feeling that Indiana has been hyping their game with us for a while now.  If you want to sit with Michigan fans, you should probably check out on those tickets right away.

So today I went to a local ticketmaster office to get my IU game tickets.  The office did not have any access to the Michigan sections.  While I am at the window waiting for the clerk to find other tickets ... I get on my BB (no Iphone for me), find the IU ticket # (866 IUSPORTS) and call them.  I order 2 tickets in the Michigan section ... there ws a $10 handlig charge, and I pick up the tickets from any ticket wndow at the stadium.  Very easy !

I asked why the ticketmaster location couldn't find me tickets and I was told "outside locations" don't see the full ticket choice.  Hmmm  -  never knew that.

If I'm IU, I don't know what's worse - knowing Denard will play, or knowing that if he doesn't, you have Tate and Devin who can come in and run the offense pretty effectively.  I would hate to be a DC this year trying to figure out how to defend this offense.

I can't wait to hear the announcers talk about how some scout team tailback "played the role of Denard Robinson in practice" for IU.

Bwahahahaha...

bring the damn D with us! Offensively I firmly believe we are going to have our way but if the D doesn't slow down the air raid that they're likely to throw at us then we'll be in trouble. If we can substanially limit the passing game and keep the running in check that will give another reason for MSU to fear week 6.
