Is no way in hell countess or Taylor should be starting cb's next year, one of them moves to safety and peppers should start. What a pathetic performance by this whole defense.

The amount of spineless bitching on this site is at epic proportions now. Good lord. It's a freshman QB, an incompetent OC, and a team with nothing really to play for. I'm not surprised by this result. Does that mean Michigan is going to implode? No. No wonder I frequent this place less and less.

KSU player just made the tackle with his head while lying on the ground. Michigan's defense can't stop KSU standing upright.

To those that have to make the dumbass comparison between RR and Hoke. I witnessed the 2011 Gator Bowl first hand and that was the ugliest game I've ever seen Michigan play, ever. The offense couldn't do anything (Imagine that, an RR offense couldn't move the ball), and the defense was atrocious. While Michigan is losing tonight, they at least look like they give a shit tonight, but just can't execute. So how about we reallly just put the RR/Hoke stuff to bed and just forget RR? It's over, let it go.

I'm aware of that. I'm also aware of the score which isn't even remotely approaching 52-to who cares. That Gator bowl there was nothing to take away but negativity. Atleast at this game we can take some positives in how Morris has played. That Gator bowl was over at the half, there's still a remote chance that Michigan can still win this game. Saying they are the same is just wrong.

Seriously? We aren't the slightest bit competitive in this game. They have driven down the field without stop. Zero punts. One missed FG. 9 yd per play. Like 98% 3rd down conversion. If they even get to third down which is rare. Can't cover, can't defend the run. Make their QB look like Peyton Manning and their D like the Steel curtain.

On offense we are Down 18 with 7 min left and we are throwing screens and 3 yd patterns? Fuck me.

You see differences and I see similarities. Both are truly embarrassing performances. The kind that should cost a lot of people their jobs because it is indicative of the season and not sure what hope their is for next year.

I understand, but did any of you actually watch the 2011 Gator Bowl? The game I'm comparing to? The 52-14 ass kicking, embarassing, total clusterfuck loss in Jacksonville? Yeah, this isn't any better result wise, but sorry Shane Morris tonight >> Denard then.

Shane Morris just then just threw his first bad pass for an int.

Never would've thought this before the game but I really think we need to clean house.

What is the upside for next year? Abysmal offense in all but like 3 games this year. Our o line has shown zero progress during the season. We have one good receiver who is graduating and another who is way too inconsistent to rely on.

Our D has been downright miserable and has also gotten worse as the season has gone on. Has any player improved from last year to this year? Our head coach is a D line coach yet arguably our d line is the worst part of an awful defense and can't get any pressure on its own.

Shane Morris was OK in the first half, but the entire offense has been pathetic in the second half.  The offense looks like RR year 1 and the defense looks like RR year 3.

Hoke needs to be honest and ADMIT they have done a terrible job and changes need to be made.  If at least three changes don't happen in the off-season then Hoke has truly failed.  And Fred Jackson doesn't count.  The rumors of his retirement make that change necessary and the performance of the RBS just piles on that idea.

I've never had a rant/blow up on MGoBlog, and I'm not starting today. That being said, we are not even competitive. We're not. The game against Ohio State was an abberation (And don't give me that ohio crap. We shouldn't get to say that anymore. They are Ohio State and they are where we hope to be. The novelty wore off of that two years ago). We are not that team, we are this team. I just don't get it. Can you imagine if Bill Snyder got the recruiting classes we've been getting? Or Mark Dantonio? Seriously. I think Brady Hoke is a good guy and it is obvious that he loves Michigan, but I am joining the chorus of people who want him to have a Schembechler level meltdown at some point and spit some fire. And I want to hear Brandon say that what we are seeing is not acceptable and will not be tolerated at any point going forward. I'm not even asking for firing. I just want one of the people charged with leading this program to show some of the passion that they all claim to possess.
