coolest slide show I have ever seen.

this may have already been seen and if so let the castration begin but I saw this and wanted to share it.
Yes, Michigan football and "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" - a match made in heaven. You're joking, right?
It will be a match made in heaven when the winged warriors emerge from the tunnel one Saturday night in October through a cloud of smoke wearing their shiny new Maize jerseys to "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor"
Then Rich Rod will sacrifice one MGoIdiot at midfield by feeding him to a live wolverine.
I honestly would not be against castration for either the creator of this slide show or someone who thinks it is the "coolest slide show I have ever seen." Neither should be adding to the gene pool.
Your punishment is to write "I will not set Michigan Football clips to shitty nu-metal." 100 times on this message board. Go.
I LOVE this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_RSLFwK9O0
better.
I would say this video is the best one I have ever seen about the University of Michigan. The original poster's video isn't good at all really. The song pretty much ruined it for me. I love this video though. Awesome post.
They need to add the "pure Michigan" guy from Michigan.org's commericals.
Great ads -- I get all misty when I see them, stuck here in Illinois, land of swamp and prairie.
It's actor Jeff Daniels, resident of Chelsea, MI. He's been in a lot of stuff, most notably (for me at least) Dumb and Dumber.
it's both
Daniels has done Pure Michigan ads? I know he's done ads trying to get businesses to locate in the state, but I thought all the Pure Michigan tourism ads were Tim Allen. And I think those ads are some of the best state ads ever made; whenever I see one on tv, I stop and listen. They're so well-made and well-written.
(Also, as a resident of Chelsea, I like to think of Jeff Daniels as Chelsea's second-most famous export -- the most famous being Jiffy Mixes. Some may disagree, but I say food wins.)
I didn't see the Tim Allen comment, just trying to say I've seen Jeff Daniels in the commercials. The ones I've seen are him luring companies to invest in Michigan, not particularly tourism ones.
Okay. Yeah, those are two different sets of commercials; the Daniels commercials are encouraging business investment, while the Allen commercials (the Pure Michigan ads) are encouraging tourism. You can see the latter here:

My favorite is Nicknames.
I agree, though the city with arguably the most nicknames (and the most character) is not included in the list.
I'm speaking of course about Ann Arbor AKA the "Ace Deuce", "A squared", "The Deuce", "Tree Town" etc.
Check the Nicknames radio ad further down the page -- it's twice as long, and it does include Ann Arbor.
good followup
I agree, a very good slide show as well. I like the faster pace of the one that I posted (although agree that the music selection could have been better). Perhaps something a little bit less hard rock and a little bit more Yanniesque could have been used to acccompany the slideshow. I tend to agree with the guy that said it was better in mute. I merely meant the slideshow itself, and not nescessarily the music. I must admit that I am not in touch with all of todays' music (or better said any of it) so I suppose I turned the music off in my mind.
This song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. "Everyday" by Carly Comando. Love this song.
You sir, get to keep the jewels. That is a video worthy of Michigan. The other, besides the terrible music, seems as if someone took a file of Michigan football photos and just hit 'random play' - little to no aesthetic quality to the order, little meaning other than to say "we are Michigan and we will kick your ass". MichFan1997's selection is classy, aesthetically well-done, and meaningful. I think someone actually put some thought into it.
I enjoyed the slide show on mute. The pictures are great but I think it needs to go more along the lines of the second video posted here. Slower, fade from picture to picture and a toned down song that doesn't take attention away from the pictures. At least that is what would make up the best slideshow for me.
...if you're going to use THAT song.

I know many of you did not like the music for the original slide show, but I thought it was fine. You need some hype to get up about football. How many of you actually played? If you did, what did you listen to before a game? Was it Bach, Beethoven? I think heavy music goes pretty well with football given that they are both violent, aggressive, etc... Since when does musical taste make someone an idiot? You probably like music that I don't, and that's what makes life interesting. I don't like beets, either - does that make me a moron? There are so many good videos on the internet, this one got me watching the Florida game highlights (Lloyd's last game) and Bo's "The Team" speech as well. Lots of fun things to enjoy in this information rich age, and I can't get enough. Go BLUE!!!!!!
All of us, yes, since forever and ever, yes.
