Don't we also sell grey jerseys that we have never and will never wear? I understand those weren't officially jerseys, but couldn't this just be something similar?

I saw those today at the Nike store on Michigan Ave (Chicago). I figured they were just some random thing they were trying to hawk. Doubt those will be anything the team wears. They look horrible.

M wears maize uniforms in almost every other sport and they look great. The Maize Terror hockey jersey is the best in all of college hockey and my favorite jersey that I own. No reason it cannot work for football. Never at home and never change the helmet. I love M's official colors - they should be celebrated. If the pants can be all yellow, then why not the jersey? I think we are a being a little to scared of change here. Let's give them a shot.

Football is not other sports. I like the maize unis in hockey and basketball too; I own a game-worn script Maize hockey jersey from 04. But football is different. There's a special sanctity to the unis. And I'm skeptical about this. Not totally made up, mind you--this isn't a home alternate, it's a neutral site game and we're the road team. And I like the all-yellow look with dark helmets with some other teams. But the design here doesn't wow me and we're talking about a pretty crazy jump. These are football uniforms, not something else. Football is different.

I'd love to hear why some don't like these.  They're literally the white jersey with an excel background color change to maize.  They're extremely simple which I like, and they're not highlighter yellow which I love.

Uniforms. It''''''''s we Love our traditional uniforms.  Only class teams, classic teams don't Need alternate uniforms. Bama, USC , ever see them wear alternates, yankees, canadiens, red wings,,,,,,ok maybe for a mid year winter classic,  but when you wait 8 months you want to see the CLASSIC M uniform.  But whatever, if the kids like I can tolerate.

If you attended the school you are entitled to say we, and even if they didn't, and you rag on them for it, you're the douchebag, not them. Everyone says we for the teams they identify with. It's just a byproduct of passion for the team. If this really bugs you maybe do some self examination.

There's a bunch of shit in that store Michigan will never wear.

But, let me not be the one to question how some breaking info is presented...we've been down this road.
