At East Rutherford NJ for Army - Navy.

If you scratch all the honor and tradition off of Army - Navy. do you know what you have?

More honor and tradition.

Anybody else feeling empty inside today lol? I’m half kidding but my emotions have been so high since the end of the psu game I kind of don’t know what to do with that today.

strange feeling. I feel like I’ve given all of my soul to UM football the past 3-4 weeks especially lol.

Very strange feeling for me, too. Feels good to have a little pep in my step.

Plus, it's 70º here in Atlanta.  Normally it's in the low 50's and rainy this time of year.  Great day to head out to the local Ace Hardware for it's reopening at a new location.  They are providing free grilled food.  ...hashtag things to do without Michigan football

Usually I am thinking "What could have been" of the season having disappointment, yet again, run rampant through me. . But now I am, as I am sure others are,  thinking what it will be with a level of excitement unknown to mankind! How quickly fortunes of a team can change. Let's hope it continues as this team SHOCKS THE 'MOTHER EFFING WORLD by winning it all with Saban asking Harbaugh, in bewilderment,  "What's your deal?" after Michigan DESTROYS Alabama on Jan 10th.

Visited the stadium over the summer when I went to an amusement park at the adjacent mall that was attached with walkways to the stadium. Seemed like a great facility with all the trimmings.

Hutch hanging with Stroud today could be awkward:

Stroud: “Hey good game Hutch, next year hopefully we aren’t sick”

Hutch: “Whatever man, Heisman candidates aren’t supposed to make excuses”

That’s not even remotely the point of why people watch, pal. As the other responder to this post just said, if that’s your mindset and what you’re looking for in this game, then you’re watching for the wrong reasons, and that’s on you.

I went to the game in Baltimore a few years ago. Was one of the coolest and greatest college football environments I’ve ever seen. All the pageantry and tradition that goes into the game is one of the last bastions of the game in its purest form. And it’s beautiful. None of these guys are playing for a pro contract. They're playing for each other and a love of the game.

Doesn’t matter that these teams aren’t equipped to win a national title in today’s game. If you can’t get excited to watch that, then don’t bother watching.

You are right that the actual football game isn’t very good in terms of the offense and defense doing things you won’t have seen before. BUT, when you learn the stories behind the players, what they are going to do for the country after they graduate, and the past HEROS that have played in this game, that is what the game is about.

You watching to support a prior belief that the President will fall asleep isn’t the point of this and there are other places that will support or rip your beliefs other then here. That comment was more snowflake then anything else that was said, and I didn’t even vote for Biden.

Manny Diaz, former YT Miami coach, to Penn St as DC. He’s a great recruiter, who was probably in a little over his head as HC at Miami. Good hire for PSU, and the East gets more loaded.

When is the B1G gonna realign?

Not sure what you mean by "development," but Penn State seems to develop players and produce NFL talent at a commensurate rate with their recruiting.  According to this 2020 article, PSU produced the 11th most draft picks of any school in the last 5 years.  They typically recruit in the 10-15 range.  Seems to develop on average with their peers.  I know from listening to PSU podcasts that they are going through a dry spell of CB and O-Line draft picks.  They need to develop those positions better, but in general they are developing in line with expectations.
