Not watching Game Day today nor Sparty vs OSU. I understand we need OSU to win but under no circumstances will I ever be able to actively root for them.

OSU losing today would be a tremendously bad thing for Michigan. Can’t count on Penn State to beat Sparty next week and Sparty has got to lose another game or we have zero chance of making it to the B1G championship game.

I think PSU has a better chance to beat MSU,than MSU winning in Columbus .... is there any world,where OSU dosent throw for 400 and 5 tds vs the MSU secondary ..MSU has the worse pass defense in D1 and the worse since Texas Tech 16 years ago

Absolutely. An Ohio State loss here would be bad--but that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy it.
I'm hoping for the best case scenario, which is Ohio State wins a close game but gets banged up in the process.

I am the odd Michigan fan who doesn’t have an overwhelming hate for OSU. Thus, I have no issue cheering them on today.

I’m with you. I’m annoyed that OSU sprinted past us in relevance and on field performance, but not full of hatred. Perhaps if the rivalry was more competitive I’d have some more vitriol, but I’ve accepted that they’re simply running a different type of program at this point. We can complain about nfl-lite, don’t play schooL, etc…but they made a choice to go SEC (under Meyer) and executed it.
MSU on the other hand is a fraudulent regional program punching above their weight, have annoying flukish wins against UM (2015, 2021) tainting Harbaugh’s record against them, and will continue to have a false sense of relevance until we slam the door on them. Their entire worth as an academic and athletic institution revolves around UM.

Not a fan of him either. Anyway, he's been with CGD since the beginning as a statistics analyst. He's basically the longest tenured employee, so a couple years ago they decided to give him a "roll" in the show as a promotion is my guess... not a very good one.

He's a fat degenerate gambler who lucked into that role on GameDay. Could have been any mediocre analyst / football fan filling that role. I'm guessing he knows someone at ESPN and got the gig. Basically like winning the lottery.

I thought he had a fresh take a few years back but his act has grown stale. I thought he made some keen observations just to be different but I think he or his staff stopped doing their homework.

If OSU wins ,we need to win this week and next week ...if Sparty wins and then we beat OSU ,we are probably in the playoffs .... at 11-1
11-1 Only loss at top 3-4 MSU ,(with some controversy) .with wins at PSU,Wisky and beat OSU at home .
They 100% going to put 11-1 Michigan in over 13-0 Cincy ,12-1 Oklahoma st or Oklahoma and maybe even in over at 12-1 Ducks team
WHEN Michigan beats OSU ,then they would have 8 wins vs teams ,that at some point were ranked inside the AP top 25..,thats more than Cincy,Oregon,N Dame.Ok st and Ok COMBINED ...

This scenario might be possible, Michigan gets in as 4 and plays Georgia / Bama at 1. If OSU wins and we win out Michigan probably gets in at 2 or 3? Might be an easier match-up. OSU winning today and getting a second loss would remove any ambiguity from Michigan making it in.
My personal preference is for OSU to win today and have the game next week be for all the marbles, with all the story lines, on our stadium, regardless of playoff implications.
