From Atlanta for Alcorn State vs. NC Central.

Lee Corso is back on this show, and that's a good thing.

While I'm glad Gameday is back, I sure do member the days where upsets commonly happened in college football and we couldn't easily predict who would win each conference at the beginning of the season.

Can't wait to see Bama, Clemson, Georgia, and OSU (even after a loss against Michigan) in the CFP once again!

It does every year...just generally not until the playoff when they play a competent pass offense.

Their few losses and nail-biters in the B1G over the past decade generally involved the opponent going nuts through the air.

Some people like to poke fun at Corso still being on the show or say that he shouldn’t be doing it because he’s slowing down. I’d like to think an overwhelming majority of those people will be lucky to still be shitting themselves at 86 instead of in the grave. He might not be in peak form anymore but it’s great to keep up the tradition of having Corso on sports’ best pregame show.

Some might say he's the Michigan football of college football talking heads?

Great tradition, old-boys club, peaked 20-30 years ago, only current relevance based on relationships and nostalgia, shows glimpses of his old self but ultimately game day performance is sub-par, disappointing and even cringe worthy.

Is it confusing to anyone else that the ticker is showing game times as “Today” and not next Saturday for the major games? I thought for awhile that games actually started today… but then came crashing back to reality.

I want to check out UCLA… I couldn’t believe that under Chip Kelly they are 0-6 in non conference games … that’s sort of unreal for a P5 team, let alone UCLA. Their qb DTR is supposed to be good, and of course we can expect Charbonnet to light it up rushing… because of course.

it seems like Lee Corso is a bit better doesn't it?

Just tuned in as they were going through who will win each conference, and he seems a little better than the last I saw him...

Strokes, which I think he had, take a while to recover from, as the brain is basically rewiring itself...he seems to be talking normally with less pauses and stutters in this show....
