College Football Final

I always watch the College Football Final for highlights from the day, and I wanted to see what they had to say about Michigan's dominant win over Ohio.  So they get to the end and are giving out helmet stickers for the top performances, and Jesse Palmer gives one to Haskins for running all over Ohio and scoring a record 5 TD's!  They get to the end to give a team sticker to Michigan for the best performance of the day, and Joey Galloway looks like he is about to walk off set.  Then Matt Barrie tries to hand him the Michigan helmet, and Galloway won't even look at the beautiful "winged" helmet.  If you didn't get to see it, look it up to get some extra joy from Buckeye misery.  I was laughing and it was just the cherry on top of a magnificent day!! ?

It was beautiful! Galloway is a complete and unapologetic homer, he takes every opportunity to discount or dismiss Michigan.

Fuck him, the school he roots for, and the entire state of Ohio!

Galloway is a total homer, but I do give him credit for putting UM #2 in his playoff rankings.  I thought for sure he'd snub them at #5.

IIRC, he was the only one on the ESPN set supporting the committee's decision to keep us ahead of MSU in the CFP rankings. And he had us #2 in his top 5 while Jesse Palmer still had us behind Alabama. Not saying he's not an unashamed homer, but he seemed to be more in our corner recently than I would've expected.

Why are you posting this over and over and over? I’m not on the blog a lot, did I miss this being a thing at some point??

I started to watch that. When I saw that it's still Jesse Palmer and Joey Galloway, I turned it off. I can't stand both of them. I used to love staying up for the entertainment of Rece Davis, Mark May, and Lou Holtz.

He can be a good-natured homer if he wants to be.  Woodson left the pregame talking-head table to take the M flag from a cheerleader and chant "Go Blue" while walking down the sideline.  That was pretty homer-ish also...and I LOVED IT.

I loved Mark May, just great.   Despise Lou Holtz, doesn't even realize he's a shallow caricature of a cliche.  And Joey Galloway, find myself agreeing with him many times, but his osu homerism is always on display.  Glad MI was 3-1 against osu in my era - and Joey had a losing record against us later in the early 90's.
