go ask RelevantBlue. I am sure he has some awshucks response that it should be Nobody!, but if you look at those damn Buckeys, . . . well, curse them!
Until we beat Wake Forest in badminton, I really think we shouldn't post this stuff.
Why are people upset? Is Michigan glaringly, obviously better than any of the 7 teams ranked above them? Maybe LSU. Other than that, this seems about right.
Did anyone see the Freep's ranking? FSU and LSU were 1 and 2. Lolz.

Too much logic. Knock it off.
Teams ahead of us schedules prior to MSU game:
Bama: Southern Cal, WKU, Ole Miss, Kent St, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tenn, aTm
Clemson: Auburn, Troy, SC State, GT, Louisville, BC, NCST
Oklahoma: Houston, ULM, OSU, TCU, Texas, KSU, TTech
FSU: Ole Miss, Charleston So, Louisville, USF, UNC, Miami, Wake
OSU: BGSU, Tulsa, OU, Rutgers, IU, Wisconsin, PSU
LSU: Wisconsin, Jacksonville, Miss St, Auburn, Missuori, Florida, So Miss, Ole Miss
Stanford: Kansas St, USC, UCLA, Wash, WSU, ND, Colorado
Michigan: Hawaii, USF, Colorado, PSU, UW, Rutgers, Illinois
If we take care of our own business, we will be facing Sparty to stay in playoff position.
I wish we were lower ranked. I mean, if you're in a Power 5 conference it doesn't matter if you're ranked 25th or 5th in the preseason if you win all of your regular season games chances are you'll be in the playoff. Teams may also be less "geared up" playing against #25 vs playing against #5. And having a lower ranking typically gets you a more favorable point spread if you're betting for Michigan.
Although I do like being the underdog but I've got a feeling Harbaugh is gonna keep our boys hungry

I expect nothing less from the very people he has exposed...
The ranking is just fine with me, I'd rather be the hunter than the hunted. Time to go out and prove who the team to beat is.
Who cares about preseason polls?? We will obviously be moving up. it only matters at the end of the season.
Not sure what the problem is. 8 is more than respectable for a team that hasn't really done anything yet, and like it or not Ohio St. has a ton of talent and a track record of success. This is a strange thing to seek validation from.
They haven't done anything yet. That's too rational.
I can't wait for the season to get here. We can truly see if this program is worth the offseason victories.
A few spots lower than I expected, but I am happy with it.
