I cannot wait to see how the quarterback battle progresses. I believe O'Korn will ultimately win out. No matter what I see improvement going into year two of Harbaugh. This defense is going to be nasty under Dr. Blitz and a wealth of talent. Preseason polls do not matter much. Just win. Go Blue!

I know some people see it as a question mark but I can't wait to see the O-Line improvement.  We haven't had a solid run game in a while (Denard doesn't count) and a lot of that has to do with shitty O-Line play.  I think there is reason to believe that stability in the coaching department on offense and finally having an experienced crew will lead to major improvements this year.  Combine that with healthy backs and I think we could really see a stellar line this season.

Fair enough. Though we rose quickly to this spot without cheating or using shady tactics to ploy vulnerable HS students in. This is just preseason... Expecting a quick rise to the top.

Since you can't read and all you think about is Michigan, I'm not surprised you saw Harbaugh's name where it wasn't.

Look at you. You're posting on a Michigan site in the middle of the day. Trolling. We can see your post history.

Fans of Michigan, msu and osu all have something in common: they're all obsessed with Michigan.

You really skeeve me out sometimes. Michigan is not the "end all be all" of everything at all times. You have a very, very Sparty way of carrying yourself. You should stop that, it just makes you look the fool. But I've said that before, and you seem to be completely blind to it.

Carry on.

Lots of interesting and ranked matchups:

Ohio State @ Oklahoma

Michigan State @ Notre Dame

North Dakota State @ Iowa (!!!)

Oregon @ Nebraska

Alabama @ Ole Miss

USC @ Stanford

Pitt @ Oklahoma State

Georgia @ Missouri

Texas A&M @ Auburn

Gonna lay waste to that coaches poll.

Including 8 on offense and 9 on defense.

They also have QB Sefo Luifau who reminds me of Oregon's Marcus Marriota.  Can run well and has Howitzer throwing arm. Great tailback in freshmen Beau Basharat and JC transfers at WR Juwann Winfree.

Spread option offense and a nice test for Michigan's defense early.

They are not PAC-12 conference contenders, but it's also not the Colorado push-over teams of Dan Hawkins and Jon Embree. Mike MacIntyre is doing a good job bringing back talent and competence.

ND may not put up 10-win seasons when State is back on the schedule (and Michigan next year). They were definitely good last year but I also couldn't help but notice their traditional rivals were not on the schedule.

Their schedule isn't totally cake like it used to be but they still make room for Army and Navy and of course "conference foes" Syracuse and NC State and Duke.  After a season or two of playing State and Michigan, they may want to conveniently drop those games again.

FSU at 4? They play in a basketball conference and played a non power 5 team in their bowl game and still found a way to lose 3 games last year.

OSU at 5? They return 6 starters. I don't care how well you recruit, you don't put a team in the top 5 after losing that much talent.

LSU at 6? Did they suddenly stop being inept on offense like they have been the last 4 years?

Stanford at 7? Ha. Maybe they can beat Northwestern this year and field a defense that isn't completely helpless.

This was a good laugh. Hopefully the AP poll is better.

Ehh I hear you on OSU LSU and Stanford but FSU at 4 is legit. They have playmakers all over their offense with maybe the best running back in the country (dude put up like 1700 yards on 7 YPC with one leg all season - don't tell Leonard Fournette!) and have similar talent on D. Meanwhile they had a fluky loss to GT and hung very tough @ Clemson and went 10-3 in a "rebuilding year"... and now get Clemson at home. I think FSU is going to be scary good this year.

If there was a poll that Michigan would be low it is the coaches poll. Thinking about it just about every region has multiple coaches who cannot stand our coach.

Then how in the hell do we ever expect to be selected to the playoff? Seriously though, the AP will look almost identical to this coaches poll. I don't anticipate more that a 1 spot shift, either way, for any team on the board.

Win all the games and we'll make the playoff, it's not rocket science. I actually don't disagree with you re: AP poll, the only truly laughable switch I see is Stanford over M - no way I think Stanford is better than us this year. While I would prob drop OSU and maybe OU below us too, you can make very credible arguments as to why they are ahead. Stanford should prob be closer to 10/11.

Your posting history is full of "I love sucking Urban Meyer's nuts, and they're the most delicious nuts... unfortunately for me as a Go Blue guy" and "Too bad Michigan has been terrible in this way or is still terrible in that way, because I'm a really big Michigan fan!"  It's a bit obvious that you're trolling.

I'm alright with 8. Top 10 ranking, gives us an advantage in making the top 4 but not too high that all eyes are on us right away.

More curious to me is MSU's 11 ranking, despite most everyone thinking they're only going to win 8/9 games this year.

LSU BAYLOR and ND are underrated. OSU And Washigton are overrated. As for us I would prefer us at 10. Just win baby
