Chase Young can now be a Lion

Ecen though we all know Quinn and Patrica will most likely instead draft Brian Lewerke with their first rounder.

I'm not sold on Chase Young. JK Dobbins was the best player on that team. The OSU offensive line was their best unit. Don't get me wrong, Chase Young is a great player but I don't think he's as good as Nick Bosa. Young has been pretty much shut down over the last few games.

And maybe the Lions need to think about getting a QB...

Not going to argue on his mechanics but the same could be said about a lot of great QBs over the years, including Favre. I've seen him play and throw ridiculously accurate passes even ok the run. Diamond in the rough, IMHO, that would be a steal in later rounds of the draft. Bet the Patriots take chance...

Stafford has been too good for too long to continue playing for that team. They should trade him to a contender for as many picks as they can get (he deserves to play for a winner and his contract will look pretty good after Dak, Mahomes, etc sign theirs), draft Young or some other stud, and tank in 2020 with Blough at QB then draft Trevor Lawrence. While they're at it, trade any older vet for whatever picks they can get (Marvin Jones, Snacks, etc).

Considering they already have a nearly 30 million dollar qb in his prime coming off his best statistical season ever.......um no thanks.

Every other team besides Lions with a qb that has a rating above 100 this season is in the playoffs. The offense is more than fine. Every one of those games except for one that they lost or tied with Stafford they had a lead in the 4th quarter but defense couldn't get a stop.

The Lions need defense, defense and more defense

Considering that most NFL qbs at his age and level play deep into their 30s nowadays without any regression either until late 30s.

Rodgers, Brady, brees, big Ben, Rivers.....no reason at all to think he can't play another 6 or so years at his current level

Chase Young May not be overrated but he sure was from the Michigan game on. It kills me to say this but Ryan Day called a great game and OSU should have won. That was the most dominating loss I think I’ve ever witnessed.

"That was the most dominating loss I think I’ve ever witnessed."

Really? I've seen tens (not hundreds) of games like that. A team up 16-0 that gets outscored 29-7 the rest of the way isn't really that dominating, sorry. OSU had ~500 yards, Clemson ~400. It was a close game, could have gone either way, but come on.

Ohio state also ran a lot more plays than Clemson in the game. That's one reason why they had more yardage.

Bottom line their 10 play 65 yard drives were ending in field goals while Clemson was getting stopped 3 and outs more but when they did cross into osu side of the field hey were putting up 6 points

After watching the bowl games w relevance Young would be a mid round pick. Lot of good d backs, interior d line. We’ll see if they trade down to take the LSU team in full. Clemson o line. Quinn fucks this up put The Ol Lady Ford at nose tackle and rid ourselves of the family.
