Anyone else have flashbacks to the 2005 Rose Bowl when Mich / Henne ran a very similar play to KC's 4th & 1 last night?  If memory serves (and it's pretty seared in there), we had a 3rd and 2. Make it and we could run clock down to zero and win game with a chip shot FG against Vince Young's Texas Longhorns.  It was the Rose Bowl and we are Michigan, so I'll let you figure out what happened.

Nope, this mostly "this fanbase" that instead of just admitting you're having a rough night and logging off you gotta just keep on digging after, I can only assume, being held at gunpoint and forced to respond to a thread that excitedly supported a former player helping his team make it to the AFC championship game.

Also, I wouldn't read too much into QBR since per that stat Jameis Winston had the best weekend in NFL history and Jared Goff was better than anyone not named Aaron Rodgers (and only by a little) despite throwing for 6 ypa.

When Romo/ Nantz were talking how they could put on the backup qb.  If the moment would be too big, all I can think of Brian's "Chad Henne is a Robot article"

Five plays and 56 yards later, Henne zeroed in on Z45 Part A Subsequence C Tight End Tyler Ecker, Rabbit-Hunting Mormon, crossing in front of a Minnesota linebacker; various servos and hydraulics kicked in. Henne flung a pass into Z45PASCTETERHM's outstretched arms, declared GOAL COMPLETED, and initiated nailcoeds.exe.

The scramble was clutch and unexpected. The 4th down honestly was more about the Browns inexplicable giving WR's cushion and not even being ready for a snap, that was ridiculously easy.  But still big props for the unexpected scramble effort to even set that up.

Perhaps the crowning achievement of Henne's professional career?  If not, certainly the most-watched achievement and, unless he plays much in the next game against Buffalo, no doubt the most remembered.  We all knew he could run -- 12 years ago (!!) -- but at age 35?  That was truly sacrificial.
