BTT Open Thread
Starts with IU v IL at 12.
Would love to be tourney champ but the extra time to rest would be alright. Regular season champs, to me, is far bigger than the BTT.
Want ILL for the first one. Predictions for the rest: OSU, Minny, Iowa - not to hard to predict those.
Schedule as follows:
IU v ILL, 12 BTN
OSU v Purdue, 2:30 BTN
Minn v PSU, 6:30 ESPN2
Iowa v NW, 9, ESPN2
Indiana is so sloppy. Beilein really has spoiled me as a fan - I can't stand watching all these other college teams that commit 15 turnovers a game.
Yeah, Amaker's teams never seemed to take good care of the basketball, even when they had upperclassmen-dominated rosters - guys who should have known the system inside and out. I could never understand that.
I don't think the system offered a lot of guidance.
That's my attempt at being diplomatic.

I want Indiana tomorrow. How we defend them compared to last Saturday might tell us a lot about our capabilities (high or low) to guard super athletic teams in the tournament.

Man, watching this OSU/Purdue game is brutal. I thought the Indiana/Illinois game was bad. Both of these teams are terrible shooting teams. The amount of shots that are nowhere near the destination (the basket) is incredible. How do you grow up playing basketball and still lack the ability to shoot at this point? Also, holy turnovers. It looks like a rugby scrum out there.
I want Ohio to win these next two games just so we can beat them again.
