This means we are going to see a LOT of activity in the transfer portal this year.

this only means they can immediately play...does not address whether winter sports athletes lose a year of eligibility if they play this year (similar to fall sports)

it'll be like a giant game of 'go fish'

M:  got any DT's?

NCAA:  nope.  go fish.

M:  got any CB's

NCAA:  nope, none of them, either.  go fish...

That's the kind of instinct that

1) our defense hasn't had enough of the last couple seasons; and

2)If it can be harnessed so as to become non-murderous, would go a long way towards making our defense again a force to be reckoned with.

I'm all in on the idea!

At the risk of stating the obvious, this will be a chaotic offseason. It will be interesting to see which programs have prepared for this as a second front in roster management and which haven't. Michigan's supposed disorganization in recruiting does not fill me with hope, but Harbaugh has managed to land two starting QBs via transfers.

I've gotten so accustomed to longing for DTs and CBs as a Michigan fan that I think I've been overrecruiting them in my NCAA 14 dynasty. Seeing 4 star DTs commit is arousing tbh

Thank goodness. If Illinois has a decent player or three, we ought to be after them ASAP.

Just don't do what the pinhead Tim Beckman and his Illini staff did by flying to Happy Valley and try to poach PSU players given the right to transfer w/o restrictions after the Sandusky stuff.

This is for players who have already “transferred”???? It seems as though the wording is for the rest of this school year.  Not for fall 2021 until they vote again for further advancement of this policy.  I could be totally off but that’s the way it seems to be worded.
