Black unis???

This is my first post so please hang with me my peeps......being a die hard michigan fan i noticed that our crowd doesnt get as rowdy as some other schools, namely Georgia, LSU.....i feel our student section and fans need a shot of shiznit in our saturday appetite, maybe schedule a night game one year, i no LC didnt like night games, but imagine having a game in the big house at 8 pm which would give AA all day to get saucey and crazy for a game. Tradition, yes i know,and i love our tradition rich dynasty but...... do you think maybe one year, ONE night game, and i might be drunk right now, but, imagine yours and my wolverines, emerging from the tunnel in black unis, maize letters and numbers trimmed with blue, replace the blue on the winged helmets with black...JUST FOR 1 GAME then we can burn the unis and never see them again,,, depending on how your reactions are i will know if this is a horrible idea. Remember i just think our program needs some Braylon Edwards 5 hour energy drink....love traditions, but lets dust off the Cobb-webs a little

Ever Never!! For the 2010 Reopening I think we should try to get a premier opponent for a possible 8:00 ABC game. Would be a bummer to debut the new house with 2 MAC's and a cupcake.

Why switch the uniforms? I say a night game is a great idea but I think leave the jersey's and helmets. Even if it is a night game the old people won't get drunk and they will just be more pissed at all the people standing and tell us to sit down because we are real fans. Get used to having quite crowds for now unless something is done.

Oh, you know, we just stole it from Princeton, anyway. Yeah, teeth and eyes on the helmets! And let's get a mascot, too. I'm hoping the alter the uniforms like Oregon did. Theirs are sweet. We could use real wolverine fur on the shoulder pads.

I made no comment on what you think, only what you typed. The goal, though, is to accurately convey what think in writing so there can be a meeting of the minds. Instead of getting upset at someone (or multiple people) for getting the wrong impression from your post, just clarify what you meant. If what you intend is different that what we all comprehend, chances are it's on you, not us.

When you say "start using" that implies that they hadn't been used previously. And I thought they were ditched because Carr wanted to put the team before the individual. Maybe he was just too polite to say that they looked terrible?

ive talk to the assistant AD Bruce Madej about this and he said the players and new staff would love to have night games. The problem he said is all the small things about the gameday experience like the fact that a main parking lot is the golf course which has no lighting. According to them, until they find a better parking alternative where a lot can be lit up and there aren't a bunch of drunk guys wandering around in the dark it won't happen. So somebody rich with a bunch of money should donate for a huge parking lot to be built to make this happen. Oh yeah the black unis is dumb i forgot that was the main point of this...but night games potentially someday

Black is INTIMIDATING. The opponent would be so INTIMIDATED by our INTIMIDATING black uniforms. Black is so INTIMIDATING that lots of teams in many sports have INTIMIDATING black uniforms to INTIMIDATE their opponents. In fact, so many teams have black alternates that it's become the stupidest of stupid trends. It's worse than the '90s teal craze. Even stupider at a school that doesn't even have black in its colors. There is one redeeming part of this idea. The part where the black uniforms are burned. I feel that this is misplaced. They should be burned BEFORE the team runs out of the tunnel. Then they can put on their blue uniforms like Michigan is supposed to. The student section would react all right. If you want them booing all night and throwing rocks through the administration's windows, black is a great idea.

I think that playing at night is bad and changing the uniforms is good. Our players should wear assless chaps because then opponents would be INTIMIDATED to touch them and if they played during the day, I'd be able to watch them more closely.
