on what hotel you're staying at. Will you be downtown?

We'll be at the Radisson and have reservations at Food Dance after the game.

Food Dance is awesome. There are some great restuarants in Kzoo.
Have a great time.

There's no specific UofM bars in Kalamazoo but if you want some good drinks and a nice atmosphere go to The Beer Exchange. It's downtown on Water Street, fairly close to Bell's and Shakespeare's.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if there would be a UM-centric place, but also wanted to find a place where CFB (and UM) could easily be watched and cheered for. My wife and I were considering the Beer Exchange.

You mean ugly bullshit, then you will love this place. Go to green top, up and unders, or shakespears. My wife likes shakes the best, its probably the cleanest of the three.

Who pissed in your Cheerios? My friends and I loved Shakes, it was our go to bar outside of Waldos on Thursday's. I mean who the hell doesn't like free popcorn?!?

The guy has to be joking. Anyone who would honestly recommend Up and Under is insane or 21.

I went to Beer Exchange in Kzoo once last summer. If you're already a bit on the tipsy side, it can get fun and a little dangerous (i.e. - "It crashed, buy buy buy!!!"). Not sure I'd ever bother going there if watching a game was my primary focus is watching a game...

Up and Unders, great grimy sports bar! There really isnt a "UofM" bar, grew up here my whole life and I prefer the chill atmosphere of Ups.

I would say Harveys on the mall isn't to bad. They have a section upstairs with U of M stuff. It's just passed the state theater on the walking mall.

My go to places to watch a game are Old Burdicks ( which would be very convenient from the Raddison) or The wayside (about 5 min outside of downtown by car). For a more unique Kalamazoo bar experience, before or after the game, definitely check out Bells, Arcadia and/or The Beer Exchange. I am told that Arcadia has really good meat, but I haven't tried eating there yet. Food Dance is great, has sort of a Zingermans vibe and even uses some of their products. Enjoy the Zoo!

Both Burdicks and Wayside are perfect for watching a game. TV's everywhere and people will be into it. The Library might have more of the fraternity bro crowd, but I'm pretty sure all drinks are half off on saturdays.

This reminds me. Does anyone know of a UM bar in Berlin that is open extremely late? I will be there for the penn state game and am not sure how to watch it.

No U of M bar per se, but any local establishment will have the game on.
Old Burdicks is a good option.

Definitely my basement. I'm on Hillcrest, knock twice and deliver the password at the side entrance. Be prepared to be amaized.
Go Blue!

Thanks to all. I'm sure we'll have a good time. Walking distance from the hotel will likely be our secondary guide. Old Burdicks may be the lead choice, but we may stop in at the others as well.
GO BLUE!

My bar in my basement! Located in the south west corner of Kalamazoo. Fully stocked! That is where I will be!

Go Kalamazoo!! Gotta give a shoutout whenever my hometown gets mentioned...

I'm located right near campus! Cool story?

If your at the Radisson, just go to Burdicks, decent food. 20+ beers on tap. And tons of tvs.
