Anyone else catch the Army/Navy game this year? I thought Army's uniforms were great. Kind of like what Oregon has been trying but unable to accomplish.

I'm not big on USC but their UNI's are pretty cool. A number 5 Reggie Bush USC jersey will never go out of style. If you want a really gross jersey go for Ohio State.

I really miss the half-cut jersey tops that teams used to wear. It always made the players look badass on the field. I'm also nostalgic for RB's carrying towels in their back pocket and linemen who wore oversized shoulder/back pads. God I miss the 80's/90's.

And then there's the Troy Aikman Towel, tucked in the front of the pants! That was big pimpin, and I always used to tuck my towel in front while at the gym.
Oh, yeah... Regarding jerseys... problem for me is some of the jerseys I like are worn by teams I hate. For example, Oklahoma, and, *sigh*... Florida.

light blue jersey is unique, cool in the San Diego alternate jersey style.
Texas's jersey color is unique and pretty cool.
Tennessee's home unis - orange with huge numbers.

I especially enjoyed it how USC and UCLA both played with their home jerseys. That looked sharp.
As for Ohio State, when did they change their jersey's? I'm not exactly a buff on this history of jersey's in college football.

More teams need to do it. There is rarely an issue of uniforms looking so alike that you can't tell the difference.
I think Ohio State changed its jerseys after the 2005 season, but I'm not 100 percent sure. I know people actually have blamed our big game struggles of late on the change, and done so with a straight face. Sad, isn't it? I can be superstitious, but a jersey change won't make you blow coverages, miss tackles and commit stupid penalties.
On another note, some teams should never change their jersey due to the fact they never really have changed their jerseys all that much: Alabama, USC, Penn State, et al. are among them. Michigan State tries really hard to be those teams and fails. They badly need a jersey change.

well the differences in USC have been subtle... for instance when Polamalu was there they had different striping and I thought it looked horrible. now its the real thick one line of yellow over the orange that looks hot.

I'll admit to liking OSU's jerseys....arrrrr that's painful to say.
Also USC, Alabama, Delaware (lol), Illinois, Notre Dame, Florida State
WORST: Northwestern, Oregon, Kentucky, Penn State, MSU (their uniforms could be much better, but as of right now they are butt-ass ugly), Oregon State, South Carolina, LSU.....probably many more.

some people like college sports and want to have some different jerseys. I like the black UGA jerseys. I like the burnt orange Texas jerseys, the blue UCLA jerseys. Not a big deal at all.

I just don't know anyone who owns a football jersey (college or pro) for any reason other than to support that team. If I saw someone wearing a jersey and said, "So, you're a _____ fan, huh?" and their response was "naw man, I just think the jersey looks cool" I would think they were retarded or making a rap video.
There are certainly other teams jerseys that I think look cool. I just don't know why I would ever want to buy one.
