Lloyd Carr has won lots of games! You need to learn your Michigan history.
I know who Lloyd Carr is. I was a student when he was DC. Met him. Great guy!
My post is referencing Harbaugh.
wooosh

Ross Douglas is now Ross Taylor-Douglas. That might help.
That big boy wearing #90 is Bryan Mone.
Possibly Maurice Hurst next to him.
After looking up some names on the official roster it looks like the group that has their backs to the camera are all DBs.

Is this our version of "clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose"

We were suppose to be looking for Mattison, not Waldo, right?
If you look harder, you'll see something in the window. Trust me, when you see it...you'll shit
while looking?
Nahhh....I was wondering how many people spent more than a minute squinting at the windows looking for something ;)
The title of this thread seems a bit disrespectful.

Look at Harbaugh. He always sticks his belly out. Is that disrepsectful? Seems to me that it's just the way the guy stands.
A belly on a man is like a mane on a lion. Glorious!
I see something tremendous. No question, Jim.
Now I will stand back and watch the pot that I just stirred.
It's going to be a long summer. I can't wait to watch this team play.

I see the man who will return us to the mountain top standing next to the man who signed, sealed, and delivered our 7-year downfall
I take it someone has never read Three and Out and/or doesn't trust John Bacon. Lloyd was a great coach, I was a staunch defender of his when he was here and people were spouting "Fire Lloyd!" in the stands and outside the stadium (~2005). Then he did everything to ensure Rich Rod failed here and I lost a lot of respect for him. I have met the man plenty of times and he is pleasant, and his on-field performance speaks for itself. I just can't look at him the same after Coach Rod's tenure.
Bill Martin there.
/still bitter
Bill Martin and Lloyd played equal parts in our downfall, of that I'm certain. Lloyd is a great coach and has a ring so he gets to come back. I don't see any reason for Jim to ask Bill "I'm on my sailboat and can't answer your call, Les" Martin back...thank the Lord.
He was a good coach for Michigan, won a NC and a lot of games otherwise. But the way he retired still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I wasn't a fan of the RR hire, especially when Les was willing to come here. All Martin had to do was wait 5 mins for him to win the NC at LSU. How awesome would that have been for MIchigan to sign a coach that won the NC at another school a week prior?
That would have been truly awesome. We might not have Jim right now, but in the moment it would have been an equally "Grand-Slam"-type hire.
That being said, how great would it have been had Lloyd not said "hey, Mario and Adrian, you two should go pro. Oh, and if anyone wants to transfer out *cough, cough*Ryan Mallet*cough, cough* I will sign your papers right here and now. Also, Rich, I will not be available to give advice on the transition nor am I willing to help you out in anyway, even though every coach before me has done so during a coaching change."
RR wasn't my number one choice either, but when he bookends his time here with two top-ten programs it becomes pretty clear that the problem at Michigan wasn't necessarily his coaching ability, but maybe the influence of people around him.
is just so strange to me, especially considering that it was Lloyd who called RR about the job in the first place.
I see confidence.
