My joke was almost funny. Still cost me all of my mgopoints. So, after five weeks, mgopoints? Or no mgopoints? |

Funny. I still remember the house party in AA when we were both students and Everitt wanted to fight me. I have no idea why. He kept pointing at me, threatening me and getting in my way when I went to the keg. Maybe he thought I was someone else. When he was away to get a beer or for a bathroom break, I asked his two friends what his problem was. They didn't really have an answer even after I told them I'd never met Everitt before. Since he had about five inches and at least 50 pounds on me, I kept my distance and managed to avoid being broken in half. Great player, but a strange guy. |

It's not the "Chick-fil-A Homophobia Bowl"? I Love their food and their service. I hate their social agenda. |

No. Once the runner takes second base and the play is over, he cannot later return to first base. Segura stole second. Play over. Segura cannot return to first. |
| 8 weeks 2 days ago | Correct. Once he took second |
Correct. Once he took second base and play was stopped, Segura could not return to first. |
| 8 weeks 2 days ago | Right. Which is why Segura |
Right. Which is why Segura should have been out. There were two blown calls: first, when Segura was tagged the second time (after stepping off second base); second, when Segura stood on first after Braun was called out. You cannot run the bases backwards in MLB. |

ND is on that list as well. Don't they still keep their football rights including the contract with NBC? I cannot imagine them sharing that money with other schools. EDIT: Answering my own question -- of course, they do. Per Brian's post on the main page. |

They were both pretty weak, but, as you said above, it's Bismark, North Dakota. These are probably their first jobs out of college and they're weekend anchors. The available talent pool to anchor weekends in Bismark is not probably not filled with network quality talent. |

No. They will be standing on the shoulders of A's. Think about it. |

| 15 weeks 6 days ago | Glad to see Drew doing well. |
Glad to see Drew doing well. The rough thing about his departure from Michigan was the timing. He announced he was going pro after National Signing Day, leaving Michigan in a bad spot. Carr didn't recruit a QB the year before Drew or the year he committed. That was the deal he made with Henson to get him to Michigan. Of course, that meant there weren't many QB options on the roster when Henson suddenly bolted. I still think Steinbrenner offered Henson the big payday to stick it to Michigan. |

Brian Griese says "hello". Seriously, I don't know about Wangler, but Michigan's had serious preferred walk-on talent in the past. As a preferred, isn't he likely to get a scholarship eventually? |

Yes. The Lions desperately need an improved return game. I'd love to see Stevie B. running back kicks for them. |
| 16 weeks 2 days ago | It's sad that WDIV didn't get |
It's sad that WDIV didn't get reaction from the university before doing the story or didn't say that the university hadn't responded to requests (if that was the case). That said, the university should not be classifying state residents who served in the military as non-residents for tuition purposes. It happened to me when I was a student and I thought it was a fluke. In the wake of this most recent incident, I'm learning that it's also happened to many others. If its not university policy, the university needs to stop doing it. |

He's not the first. Have you read the responses in this thread? |
| 16 weeks 6 days ago | The university did the same |
The university did the same thing to me 20 years ago. I served six years in the Army and enrolled at UM after returning from Germany. When I got my first tuition bill I was shocked to learn that UM had accepted me as an out-of-state student. Luckily, I was able to get a state representative to contact the university president. My situation was fixed quickly and the president sent me a letter of apology. I knew a handful of other veterans on the Ann Arbor campus at the time who did not have this problem. But if accepting veterans who served overseas as out-of-state students is UM policy now, it needs to change. Interestingly, the report from WDIV did not have a response from the university. |

How do I vote? Do I click the button next to Denard's name, then click "like"? The page doesn't explain it. I'm sure this is a simple question for those who regularly use Facebook, but I'm a Twitter man.

Actually, he meant to say "We can definitely writhe with him". Personally, I'd rather not, but I guess the decision to writhe or not to writhe is best left to individuals. |
