Beat the Buckeyes

Submitted by BlueTuesday on

No small feat I know, yet not impossible. Gardner has to play the game of his life.

I hate the Buckeyes. So indeed, beat those fucking fuckers. Twice.

In the full realization that - by the numbers - our chances of winning this game would have to improve to be not great, I will be cheering on my alma mater all the same in the hope that we can provide more evidence that rivalries can be funny and anything can indeed happen now and again. Go Blue, everyone!

Everyone knows he is going to be gone. But, he is a good man who loves this university! It would be great to send him out with a W and ruining Ohio's hopes for any playoffs! Would be a great way to send him off!! Here's to hopefully a future historical day to our programs turn around!! GO BLUE!!!

Wishing the Team and Brady and the rest of the coaching staff the best today and hopefully the Team plays well and can come out with a victory.  And we can watch Brady on TV, probably one last time, call them Ohio.  Which by the way, it makes sense to call them that as that is what they call themselves....

1) But when they score a touchdown, their cheerleaders bring out flags on the field that spell:

2) There fans spell:

3)  Their band spells out:

4)  Their stadium is called:

5) Their fight song says…”Fight the team across the field, Show them Ohio's here….”

So if they want to be called Ohio State, can't they just spell the extra 5 freakin' letters!

I just hope Hoke turns Nussmeier loose to try to score as many points as quickly as possible. It worked against IU and almost against OSU last year. Let's see if Nuss can outdo Borges from last year's game.

He couldn't get anyone to go with him because it was going to be an onslaught. On the way in, everyone around us, not with us, but walking in at the same time were all discussing which team had a better chance, last year's team or the '07 team. Nobody gave last year's team a chance. But they gave themselves a chance. A really good chance. And that's all I'm expecting this year. UM will have a chance. And you know what they say about eternal hope as long as there's a chance.... Go Blue!! Go Hoke!!! Buck a fuckeye!!! GO BLUE!!!!

The D is good enough to get the job done, the OL has become decent?, and we have a decent stable of RBs. If Gardner can channel his inner UTL (as the above mentioned), we have a prayer.

We are just about dead last in turnovers and takeaways this season, but still have the 9th ranked defense in the country. If we can get some early turnovers and run the ball on them like Minnesota and Indiana was able to do, anything can happen.

GO BLUE - BEAT THE BUCKS!
