Bama is out, Clemson loses, UT loses, OSU struggles

Looks like UM will be #2 in the playoff ranking this week.

Still concerned about our passing game, but OSU-UM going into CBus should be a #2-#3 battle either way.

Very possible, 2 B1G teams could actually make the playoff this year, but a lot of football left to be played.

Fitz said after the game that Northwestern put 2 extra men in the box because both coaches knew that passing would be non-existent in Chicago with 40 to 50 MPH winds. That game was destined to be a lot closer than the point spread. Wish I would have put money on it like I was thinking about doing before the game

Not only are you obsessed with OSU in your posting history - and specifically how good their defense is this year - but your vocabulary gives away that you are clearly not a 72+ year old man. It's a pretty pathetic attempt at a cover identity. Grow a pair and just come out as a Buckeye. You will feel much better. I promise.

Could be 3 behind OSU and Georgia if the committee prefers their win over ND over our nonconference schedule. I think we could get two big ten teams in now unless TCU or Oregon make it in.

Shouldn't be much drama Tuesday.  I'll be shocked if the top 5 isn't Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, TCU, and Tennessee, in that order.

That committee has shit for brains. They actually had the audacity to put Clemson above UM and those jerks in ESPN were circling the wagon. Well, they should be embarrassed because they are pretty bad at evaluating teams. I have no faith in them doing anything right. AP did a better job than that committee and we all know how bad AP is.

Not so sure I agree as that was just smash mouth contest after the passing game was non-existent. As mentioned, Fitz loaded up the box and OSU still ran for 200 yards. On the other side though, NU stayed with them on the ground. Just an ugly game - with the wind and rain to watch. Worst conditions I've seen in a while

If Michigan isn’t #2 in the rankings this week the committee really needs to be subjected to some serious questioning.

1. Georgia

2. Michigan

3. Ohio State

4. TCU

5. Tennessee

6. LSU?

Whatever you think of this team, the first half, whatever, Michigan should be #2 in the next CFP rankings.  Clemson got rocked, Tennesse lost by 14 in a game that frankly wasn't that close, and OSU got outgained for the second straight week by Northwestern (NORTHWESTERN)
